Levar isn't too old going by the CFU Batman's age. Just say he was out in space for a long time and didn't get back and into the public until after the Zod event., due to the Parallax event. Partner him up with a younger Lantern like Kyle Rayner

I'm hoping they go with Simon Baz myself.

I don't think build is that important of a role. The reason I think he'd be a good choice is because I think he could play the character well.

Wooot I got a Roku stick for Christmas and along with that I got 3 months of Hulu Plus for free so I now I am able to keep on top of Arrow and Flash. I finally got all caught up on Flash and all I have to say is wow. I can't wait for next month.

Just finished watching Arrow and I am shocked by that mid season ending. I can't even think of how they are going to pull Oliver out of this one. January can't come soon enough.

Yeah that is my only guess right now is that they bring in the whole Lazerus pit thing or something like it.

I finally got around to catching up on reading the 3 Batman "End Game" issues that I had. I am really loving these. Not only the seeing the obvious measures Batman has put in place for each Justice League member in case they ever got out of control, but also this Joker story is starting to top "Death of the Family" from earlier in the series.

I was waiting for it to come out in trade but I may read it now instead, it sounds alot like Tower Of Babel but whilst it had a great idea it never clicked with me storytelling wise and I'm still not sure why as I normally love Mark Waid's work.

CW just announced a animated spin-off to Arrow and The Flash based around Vixen.

OMG YES! This is amazing.

(I don't even know who Vixen is, but an animated series in the Arrowverse is so amazing I can't keep it in)

Nice. I am seriously more hyped for the DC TV Universe and what they are doing with that then the JL movie. Honestly the JL movie just feels like a cheap cash in on Marvel's success. IMO I think DC should just stick with tv series.

Actually, this is good news for those of us who want S3 for Young Justice. It shows that Warner is still willing to take risks with animation, and that they may take advantage of smaller outlets to do this.

S3 Young Justice is no doubt an animation risk (pretty much being the most mature family friendly cartoon well, ever), so Vixen is indicative that it may be possible (still far from likely though)

We would have gotten a Justice League film anyway and the Slate sounds promising. I just wish we could have one cohesive universe like the MCU.

The Flash and Arrow got renewed for seasons 2 and 4 respectively. We should be getting some Supergirl news lately but the main showrunner has said its being designed in a way to crossover with Arrow and The Flash. Plus the CW is reportedly in early talks about a spin-off show featuring the atom.

My guess is where going to see a two or three parter sometime next year entitled justice and featuring a Justice League/Society line up of

I heard that they are also looking into another spinoff featuring the Titans which Ray Palmer will be going too. Also I heard that Suicide Squad is coming to TV as well with the same actor that played Deathstroke or did that fall through?

I know of titans but I haven't heard of Ray Palmer going over to it. (there was a rumor that Thea or Roy would be in the cast). As for deathstroke I don't think he could carry a show on his own. (Arrow deathstroke is too much of a bad guy). I know we should be getting a Squad Episode in either Arrow or Flash this season.

@shingi_70: Yeah I didn't hear of Roy or Thea going over to Titans but these can be all rumors. As for Deathstroke I heard that about a year ago so they may have dropped it. But since they keep eluding to the Squad I can see them coming into either Arrow or Flash or both, after all it just makes sense.

I was never really into comics, but the Books-a-Million that re-opened at my local mall carries a lot of the newer DC and Marvel comics. I picked up the first two trades of the New 52 Detective Comics and found them to be pretty entertaining.

I was really excited to hear that Arrow and Flash were both renewed by the CW, even if there wasn't really and doubt that they would be. The trailers for he new episodes next week have me hyped to extreme levels. The second half of these shows are really going to bring it!

I watched Justice League: Throne of Atlantis tonight and it was much better than War. I may be a tad bit biased as I think Throne of Atlantis is the best event in the new 52. The movie gives all the charcters time to breath and mostly focuses on advancing Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Supes+Wondy relationships. It works great standalone but it seems like there should be movies in-between other than Son of Batman.

[spoiler]I really liked the Steel Cameo, and te after credit teaser seems to hint at Forever Evil or Suicide Squad[/spoilers]

Its not something to watch with the kiddes as the fight scenes and deaths are pretty graphic and people curse a bit often in it.
