Just curious, I don't know too many people that even know what they really are, excluding the people that I race with. lol

I've always wanted to get into RC cars. All the customization has always appealed to the auto-geek in me. It's always looked like an expensive hobby though, and I have enough of those already. lol

Whoa, that's pretty awesome! I actually race my brother he has a Jeep and I have a Volkswagen Beetle. If we're racing indoors I'll easily destroy him. If we head outside he kicks my butt.

Yeah, it's an expensive hobby-- But my dad has a hobby shop and it almost pays for itself since we opened our own track. But when we first started, it was a money sucker. They do break, but easy to fix, it's not like radio shack where you have to buy a whole new car.. haha

No, but I was part of several local, semi annual pinewood derby's when I was younger.

Finally, an excuse to post this:

That's pretty cool... And you're right, that would be hard to find a circumstance to post that under. lol

The video I posted is of the race my boyfriend and I went to in Connecticut (we're from Ohio), I forgot how long the intro was, you can just skip halfway into the video.
All racetracks organize their races like motocross; There are heats for qualifying for the feature/main race, and depending on how many are signed up for the class, you make the A main, B main, etc. That video was the A main, and I think there was only down to a C main that weekend.
