Well to be honest they minutes well be to the teenage market.

Society has failed then.

I never said anything about print being out of date. And books don't don't have the same purpose as a magazine and can't be read on the Internet. Posting a bit of news doesn't break copyright laws.

Technically it actually does.

Furthermore you can read books on the Internet. People still buy the print version rather than hit up project Gutenberg. The experience is different and the experience is why print - including magazines - wont die if
It can evolve.

@Choco I thought you would be on the other side of the spectrum of this issue. I actually agree.

It has been said that magazines are dead for quite a while now, and yet I still receive Nintendo Power every month and enjoy it. Magazines aren't usually news-oriented either, so they are affected less than newspapers are to the age of the internet.

My main problem with magazines is when they try to do news only. Game Informer is pretty guilty of this, and they don't have much that the Internet doesn't.

As long as there are toilets, magazines will still be relevant.

internet.

that should explains everything.
unless mags have news privileges with games companies, i dont see how theyre relevent anymore.
stop them, save trees, and work online.

and seriously, who wants a mag when you can have gamefaqs.

They lost relevancy to me when demo's become downloadable, I just view them as a waste of money now for the most part.
