Oh yeah, I forgot. I was gonna thank everyone for the positive encouragement here. I was kind of unsure about posting this on the internet; there tends to be a lot of mean people out there. I should have known that this was a good community!

Ha ha, I feel so stupid... Now I most likely won't have another chance until monday...
So many things have to line up correctly, and even if they do, a moment's hesitation ruins everything, and I have to wait until all the peices fall back into place...
The problem today was that I was much too slow, and I missed my chance for the day...

Go, just don't communicate with her online until you have actually talked... I learned that the hard way.

I'm in a similar boat as you are, though the person I've just realized I fancy is already a friend of mine.

Which means I'm stuck... Though I'm pretty sure she already has someone so I'm not too dissapointed... Was this post pointless?

Oh, so this thread has shifted to girl problems has it? Seriously guys, just go for it. Plan timing and other stuff a head of time if you have to. It's never worth it spending time contemplating wether to reveal feelings or not. It's not as hard or big of a deal as you think it is.

I am unaware of all the circumstances, yet aware of all the ways my friendship and or chances can be ruined. And so I wait... Not specifically for the right timing, but for all the peices to reveal themselves and god dang it why did you make my type all this Retrooooooooo!

To the people saying it could ruin friendships: I've been in that situation twice and both times it hasn't ruined my acquaintanceship.

I don't actually feel like it would ruin my friendship....

But I'd probbably still disrupt it out of being dissapointed...

I've got a few plans, but all of them require many things happening in a row, at the proper times, etc. I need to simplify somehow. I want to actually get to know her as a friend before going any further. How can I talk to her, out of the blue, without seeming suspicious? I'm not quite sure about it yet, as I don't really know her. I'd like to become friends first. Anyone got a simple way to do that?

Anyways, this counts as a disappointment:
She apparently went home early today, removing all chance of meeting her today...

Well, keep at it. Saw my crush (using the word makes me feel social... Ick.) check of a box during a stress survey that said 'In a Relationship', and she gave it a 4 out of 5 on a scale of how much it's on her mind.

...I guess this counts as a dissapointment? I mean, I'm happy for her nontheless, and I'm not genuinely upset...

But at least I waited before making any move.
