@OptometristLime: It didn't sound native, but the gist and message got through. Igataki posted that on Facebook himself, if wanted to get help making a fancier English statement, he could have. The arrogance and pridefulness of it is clear. @Damo did the right thing by reporting on it. Igataki did it to himself. It wasn't taken out of an interview or anything. @Damo shared the viewpoint Igataki publicly shared himself.
Of course he publicly shared it, the man doesn't speak English for goodness' sake how could he be sure if his words are correct?
The headline and quotation sent two different messages, when juxtaposed without proper benefit of context the reader might well conclude the game designer speaks farsicle nonsense. In fact the burden of an accurate translation falls to the article's curator, who might just as easily have quoted the highly coherent sentence that followed.
Devil's Third is the game which reflects the player's skill directly/vividly.
This is truth.
@Twilightangel I see now, at first he was calmly discussing things (which is great), but he did go little too far in a couple of comments. They even got the attention of a mod.
@OptometristLime: He could have checked with someone in PR or a translator? I'm sure someone in a position like him could have gotten hold of someone to make a proper statement if wanted to. Of course, the statement itself wasn't proper so he didn't get someone to make a proper translated statement.
Every other time I try to calm down a harsh situation (which is rare, but usually involves writing a long post), it's been too late and the mods already locked the thread while I was writing.
Anything relating to Igataki. That man has just put himself into some hot water and I'm at the ready to increase the temperature for his next statement about how perfect the game is and how the players aren't "getting it".
The fact you are reading this proves you are able to have an attention span longer than me. Well done sir or madam!
I had my first panic attack at my ex-girlfriend's birthday party.
Yeah, the party only went downhill from there. I don't think I want to go to friend parties anymore.. I'm more of a "hang out with a few friends" guy, I guess.
So my day hasn't even started and I've already got one. Got woken up at 4:30 this morning by one of our new kittens going to the toilet on my bed. With me in it. And it was definitely diarrhoea too.
I don't think I've ever jumped out of bed that quickly before.
@TylerTheCreator: It probably disappoints him because that means that the NX is probably going to come out sooner rather than later, and if the NX is a home console then it will cut the life of the Wii U short.

@TylerTheCreator: Simple, I bought a Wii U less than 2 years ago (September 2013) as that was when Nintendo really started having a good game lineup. All of this NX stuff of which the console is supposedly going to release in a year makes me feel burned. the NX shouldn't be coming until holiday 2017 at the earliest for a reasonable console lifespan. An even bigger concern than feeling burned is the fact SEGA did this with the Saturn 19 years ago and so I think Nintendo may follow the same path that SEGA did which ended up being third party for the other consoles.
@TylerTheCreator: I shall apply the same rule I always have, if there's enough great games that I want then yes. Knowing Nintendo though, the NX will likely be barren for at least the first year.
You guys do know that nothing has been announced for the NX yet. Square said it's possible that Dragon Quest XI could come to the NX not a definite though.
