Topic: Disappointment of the Day

I lost internet today. I wanted to play a lot of Splatoon's Splatfest, but I only got 3 games in before the internet failed me.

I was planning to go for a swim while watching the fireworks, but now my stomach isn't allowing me to do so. Taking my meds means I can't even get in the water. Ugh.
At least, I played a lot of Splatoon today...

Work up today with bad stomach ache which I know why. Let's just say I won't be leaving the bathroom too much today. Good thing I have a 3DS.

@VeeFlamesNL Don't most fireworks go off during the night? You really shouldn't swim at night. That water chills you to the bone.

Oh no, it's really hot here. The days always start with a low of 85-90s.

On that note, I'm having to tell people to cram their foot in their mouth for showing their opinions as law "And everything else is wrong, nyeh" an awful lot today. The nerve he had to quote broken English across an obvious language barrier kind of says it all, in terms of the disrespect he has for other viewpoints.

@OptometristLime: It didn't sound native, but the gist and message got through. Igataki posted that on Facebook himself, if wanted to get help making a fancier English statement, he could have. The arrogance and pridefulness of it is clear. @Damo did the right thing by reporting on it. Igataki did it to himself. It wasn't taken out of an interview or anything. @Damo shared the viewpoint Igataki publicly shared himself.

Honestly, I didn't even notice the quote had broken english until you mentioned it. It seemed quite appropriate before.

@Jaz007: Like @BLPs said Damo was having arguments with other users in that article. It was childish! Who does that? In the end in that comment section went to hell really quickly!

@CanisWolfred Me neither. It was a direct quote from Igataki, so I can't really fault @Damo for that. Still, how he acted in the comments was pretty much uncalled for.

I wasn't arguing. I had two things going on. One was telling Damo that his arguing that his opinion is right and fact and that we should be sorry for wanting to buy the game is quite irresponsible, when rightfully as Tom said, everyone is allowed to enjoy what they want, regardless of whether or not he forces his opinion in the comments as fact. He was being straight rude about it, I politely asked him to tone it down in consideration for those who want to try the game themselves.

My other conversation was regarding Sonic Lost World, which resulted in me giving advice on the core gameplay mechanics within the title and how to utilise them effectively, following on from a comment about how games are less skill dependant and more tutorial based than experimentation and experience based these days.

@BLPs: I meant to say like BLPs said he (meaning Damo) was arguing with other users like a child. Fixed it right now my bad for the confusion.
