Topic: Club Nintendo Rewards. ^_^

I just got my platinum reward in the mail yesterday. It's the figurine that has the whole Super Mario gang on it, coolest reward I've seen yet. It came in a yellow box with question marks on it, and included a thank you note for helping Nintendo 'put smiles on gamers faces' by taking part in the surveys. If you didn't know already, by registering your products at https://club.nintendo.com/ and filling out surveys, you get coins that can be redeemed for goodies. You can also get a special yearly reward without using any of your coins. Anyhoo, the point of this post is, as small a thing as it is, it means a lot, and adds a personal touch. These things cost money to produce, and the cost of shipping to the members... It's just really refreshing when I can't turn my other systems on without being bombarded with advertisements. I think Microsoft would charge me for turning my 360 on if they could. Now that I think about it, shouldn't being subjected to all those commercials entitle me to free live? I mean, that's how commercial radio and television works, right? All I'm saying is it's nice to be appreciated once in a while. And I, er, appreciate being appreciated.

Ok so I finally was able to spend all my coins. (I haven't been able yet due to CN website being down alot and some family stuff I hve to take care of) I got Doc Louis' Punch Out and F Zero X.

Well the site is good now, I'm pretty sure they added another game! the list has shifted and Uprising is no longer alone in a row.

Thank goodness they did not release anything else... I've spent all my coins, so if they realease anything else that I really want... I will not be happy. At all.

If you were talking Banjo Kazooie then we'd be in business. I'd go out and buy games to get to that coin total. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with DK64.

The big surprise is that they'll release DK 64, Banjo Kazooie and Goldeneye as a bundle for 400 the next day.

There are a few games I want to spend my coins on (mostly 3DS retail titles), but I'm afraid that on April 1 they're going to say "hey Gold and Platinum members, you get to choose any one game from the full list for free!"

Then I'll have wasted my coins on something that was already coming my way.

Yeah, I'm avoiding redeeming for the retail games for that reason: well that and I've previously owned any that would interest me so it's kind of a waste to just rebuy them. Fortunately, there are plenty of games for 250 or 300 coins that interest me.
