Topic: Club Nintendo Rewards. ^_^

I think Nintendo's not telling us something.First they get rid of several physical rewards,then they take their sweet time waiting to announce Elite Rewards.

If anything I would expect them to announce the prizes at Noon EST/9 PST like they do with the club nintendo updates and new vc games.

Are you freaken serious i come back from vacation and i thought the platinum rewards were announced already

It's kinda dumb you can't register to Club Nintendo without having one.

You can get a product code from buying new games or systems. Also downloading games from the eShop will also give you surveys do to for coins on Club Nintendo.

Why do I get the feeling they weren't prepared, and are scrambling for stuff they can turn into Elite rewards?

I hope that's not the case.

Well they have a whole year to think of something, they could borrow some ideas from the other club Nintendo's, Japan got a new game for platinum this year, somewhat wouldn't mind having it, but then again the issues of translating it to English.

I am sure they were prepared you people just need to learn patients when it comes to these things.

I blame the internet personally. People are used to getting whatever they want immediately... so we get anxious when nothing comes. I'll survive a few more days.

The only reason that I'm tired of waiting is because it has never taken this long. Last year was the latest announcement they'd had... it was the 6th.
Now were going into the 10th. Kind of makes me wonder when we'll hear of something.

Probably because an extremely late announcement does not make people feel safe on the prize being something good.

The first year we didn't find out till the 14th, so this isn't quite the longest wait yet.

Honestly who cares if its good or not? Its free after all. Beggers can't be choosers.

Am I the only one that things Nintendo has it backwards regarding how reward programs are support to work.... Wouldn't it be a better strategy to announce a cool prize in advance and motivate people to spend money toward getting it than revealing your prizes afterwards and risk people being dissapointed and mad at you?

Hey, I'm a pretty patient guy; both with people and just waiting for stuff.

Besides once they announce the rewards they usually don't arrive until the holidays.

Nintendo hasn't exactly shown great business sense over the last two years.

I'm not sure whether it would help if they showed the elite rewards in advance, because then people would just not bother if they didn't care about them that year. They really should have a couple top-notch regular physical rewards that are like 1000 coins though to give people a motivation to save up for something. What a barren wasteland the rewards page has become over the past year and a half!

It is like that relative that gives you crayons or a child's book on Christmas even though you are 14. Better to just not get anything.
