With the holidays rolling around, I have a tendency to play through games that carry a holiday theme or setting. As such I tend to break out Batman: Arkham Origins and try to break my score on Pikmin 3's holiday levels. I was curious what other games are out there on the Wii U (including Wii, Virtual Console and eShop) and 3DS that fit the theme.
Including the two I mentioned, I know there is also a holiday code for Donkey Kong Country 3 ("MERRY" in the file select) and Animal Crossing always has celebrated the season. Any others that come to mind?

I don't really play any Christmasy games, I just play whatever. Maybe I'll get back into Minecraft and build a home in a snowy area....or play Little Inferno or something. xD

@ogo79@bezerker99 While those are Christmas themed games on a Nintendo system, I was looking for games actually playable on current Nintendo systems. Granted, Sega always seemed to understand holiday games better as a concept than Nintendo, but surely there are games out there.
@Darknyht The only thing I can think of now is Christmas Bird Mania. There are some games with Winter type elements in them like Clay Fighter has a Snowman character and his level is a winter type theme but I really wouldn't classify that as a Christmas game.

Probably the only thing remotely close to Christmas-themed that I've played on current-gen systems (and it's a stretch) is Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. The later levels would especially be well-suited for the season. Plus, I seem to recall some Bavarian themes for one island.

It's not on a current system (Wii Virtual Console is your best bet) but..... Toe Jam & Earl for SEGA Genesis has an evil Santa in it. Makes sense since there are presents littered everywhere in that game.
