Topic: Pooh & Tigger Chat Pals? - Need help

I recently ordered Pooh Chat Pal & Tigger Chat Pal. Pooh came in the mail. I might have to rebuy him because one of his hands doesn't work but I have a question: Is there a camera inside the Chat Pals? I bought both so they could talk to each other although Tigger hasn't arrived in the mail yet although when I'm playing with Pooh even though I like him I get an eerie feeling that there's a camera inside him for some reason & I don't know why but can't shake that feeling for some reason. I remember when these originally came out back in 1999. I actually called several stores back then & was told they didn't have them or were already sold out for the holiday season that year (Christmas). I also remember reading in either a magazine or news article that they were the most high tech toy's at the time back then at least for that time era. Figured they were cheap enough online why not~ 😂🤣 I don't want to put Pooh on my dresser at night then I'd feel like he's watching me even having him turned off so in the closet just at night time~ 🤦‍♀️😂 It is true though he does move his head to voice or sound. If I talk to him on left or right he moves his head to where ever you are. Kind of giving off exorcist vibes with the spinning head~ 😂 If anyone knows if he has a camera inside just let me know just very curious on this~ 🤷‍♀️ Thank you for any help or info on this~ ✌️

I doubt anyone here would know anything. I suggest maybe looking for a toy collector in your area or maybe a toy collector forum online, they would more then likely be more knowledgeable about something like that then a Nintendo forum.

I didn't know that about teddy ruxpin. To my credit though I heard of him in name only from older friends / cousins. I do have 4 baby talk doll's by galoob 3 girls & 1 boy. Trying to find another boy to fix mine because mine is losing his hair. Even if I brush it lightly or barely touch it. His hair is falling out. Thinking of rerooting his hair the rest of him still works. I know in the late 90's & early 2000 era they were coming out with some high tech doll's & yes especially the 80's. 80's is an awesome time era to search mechanical / interactive doll's. Truly fascinating. Why did you have nightmares about teddy ruxpin? That was my dream for the longest time to have a bear or doll talk back to me & hold conversations. Another reason why I loved Teddy Together 3ds lol. 🤣 Felt like a dream playing that video game~ 🥰🤣

I did look into that but couldn't find any toy collector forums except on Facebook & I don't use Facebook. 🤷‍♀️
