I know Nintendo could crank out some serious graphics and I hope the Wii U really has graphics that are in the same orbit as those of the XBOX 360 and PS3 and not old school like those of the Wii and GameCube. I am pretty much alright with the graphics on the 3DS but I still think Nintendo could have done better because they are only above those of the GameCube and below those of the PSP. I mean, if Sony can give us PS3 level graphics on the PS Vita then why can't Nintendo do better? I'm so sick of this argument from Nintendo's leaders that the game play matters and not graphics because that is nothing but a fallacy. Both the game play and the GRAPHICS MATTER you idiots. I'm 23 years old and I'm not a child anymore. I'm not satisfied with the same old mediocre stuff you fed me as a child. I want something better, something greater and something more than yesterday and the same goes for Apple.
Gameplay > graphics. Why? Because a fun game that looks like crap can still be enjoyable, a boring game with amazing graphics can't.
Obviously you've never played Donkey Kong Country. And for the record, a game that looks like crap can be utterly unplayable. That's worse than being boring.

I thought it was well known about these parts that DKC, despite being well liked, was a game that put graphics over gameplay, and that its graphics were ultimately it's saving grace. To put it simply, it's boring yet looks good enough to keep you going. In other words, you've already been proven wrong. The latter part about being unplayable was unrelated.
That just blows you out of the water. The DiSH Hopper has two terabytes! Plus it will offer music. I just don't understand why they are making a fuss over Latino Channels. If they care so much about Latinos they should do that in a Spanish keynote. We are English speakers.
I wonder if Nintendo will demonstrate new games for the Wii U at CES 2012? I mean, they didn't REALLY show anything of substance at E3 2011 in terms of software for the Wii U save for that beautiful Legend of Zelda HD game which was later revealed to be a cutscene and not actual game play which is shameful beyond deceptive and not to mention a let down.
Nintendo needs to stop ball dropping at the CES to wait for E3 and actually show software at CES just as Sony does. Sony is going to have new game demos and software previews for both the PS Vita and the PS3. From what I have read the Nintendo 3DS is going to be absent and there is little to no software according to my knowledge for the Wii U at CES 2012 and that literally is disappointing.
Nintendo and Microsoft are both highly foolish to skip and ball drop at the CES in my humble opinion.
I think Intel has really hit the nail on the head with Ultrabook. Ultrabook looks to be a real and truly game changer.

Ultra Books are already on the market. I was messing around with Asus - Zenbook Ultrabook Laptop at Best Buy the other day. When I decide I'm tired of my Viao, I'll upgrade it to the new Vaio Ultra Book.
I already have Music Unlimited Premium and it's flippin' awesome! Really glad it's coming to Vita.

Now both Samsung and LG are more popular than Sony and Panasonic. I guess South Korea is "the new Japan" in terms of electronics innovation. My how times have changed.
By the way, I don't know if it's innovation. I think you mean technology in general. Bigger OLED is screen is great, but innovation is coming up with a new idea, not just bigger/small/better imo. Yes, Korea has Samsung, LG, SK... and don't forget Taiwan and China (ACER, Asus...), Lenovo.

Ha? Tablet is basically a PC, it is supposed to out perform game consoles in terms of hardware. Hardware is not games. The basic model of the iPad launched for $500.

Really love the WP7 phones. I've got a Focus now and am really excited about what's coming out soon and REALLY REALLY excited for stuff that might come out in a year or so.
I was really impressed with the ASUS Tegra 3 Tablet. I was surprised beyond description to see that tablet playing a rich game like Skyrim and I also loved the PhotoShop-esque app which I think was called 'Snap Seed'.

well, it can, the Wii U graphics will be the best. Anyway, the 3DS' graphics are better than the PSP. Resolution is close in 2D (although it depends on the game, they say it's anti aliasing that makes it better in the 3DS), but in 3D it shines and it looks much better. I haven't even seen any Vita game that looked better than RE: Revelations, so that tells me something. Also, vita's resolution is not HD (it's not even 720p, it's qHD, which is below some new phones like galaxy nexus, so it's obviously below the 1080p resolution too).
it tells us that revelations is a 2nd gen 3ds game while all the vita stuff is working on first gen dev kits. that and capcom has worked on two 3ds games and two tech demos (re5 and MML3)

Not really considering the Wii came out in 2006, and this is 2012. What is sad is that the Wii U controller is already looking outdated compared to most tablets, though at least it streams better graphics than most tablets have (unless you count Onlive). The other thing that worries me is the semi-impending releases of PS4 and Nextbox.
ps4 doesn't have me worried as Sony cant afford to go super expensive powerful again. Mircosoft can but with kinext 2.0 on the way i don't think they will.
