@NintendoByNature - Is it weird that my My Buddy doll is always in a different spot than where I left him? I can’t find an on/off switch or a battery bank anywhere on him, I think he’s solar powered.
@Maxenmus Wile I perfectly happy with the toy story we have now obviously. The idea of a villain protagonist in a Disney movie is cool. Animated Disney movie.

@NintendoByNature - Those were the days. Nobody even cared about evil murder dolls in closets. My parents would have been angry with me if I had bothered them with this news. I just had to live with it, and you know what? It made me stronger. I could have easily been in the Monster Squad. I probably would have been the leader.
I must been smart in 1996 when I got my cabbage patch snacktime girl doll by keeping her on my dresser at night back then. I just got an eerie feeling I shouldn't have her sleep in my bed with me as a kid. Glad I went with my gut feeling back then lol. It's funny you mention My Buddy doll. Last year I finally got around to replacing my blonde Kid Sister doll from 1995 also got used at the thrift store back then. My mom threw her away in 1999 when I was in school & didn't bother to say a word to me except I went frantic looking for her & ended up in tears. Anyway's I swore back then if I ever replaced her I would replace her with the brunette My Buddy doll which I did & got the brunette Blinking My Buddy doll. His name is Junior (From the movie: Problem Child) 🤣 I sleep with him on my bed every night along with Little Tikes Talking T Pete, Amazing Amanda, Baby Brother Tender Love (Henry), Cabbage Patch Baby So Real, Star Belly Dream Lite blue puppy (Blue)~ 🥰🤣👍 My My Buddy is such an angel he lays on my bed & has such a relaxed look on his face. I dress him in baby clothes from 3 to 9 month's & brush his hair with a rapunzel baby wet brush but I use the baby wet brush for all of my doll's along with a elmo & cookie monster baby brush~ 🤣 I have a boy cabbage patch snacktime kid doll red head but I don't have his batteries in him right now but he works. 😎🔥👍

I actually wanted to get teddy ruxpin a few year's ago but passed & decided to get FurReal Friends Cubby The Curious Bear instead for Christmas. Love him to pieces~ 🥰💖 He wears snap on baby clothes 3 to 6 months in different jumpers / rompers lol~ 🥰🤣👩🍼🧸🐻

@Barbiegurl777 - You were smart to trust your instincts. Imagine the dazed terror you’d have experienced upon waking from a deep sleep and realizing it was stuck in your hair, getting closer and closer to your head with every bite! You have quite a nice collection, sounds like you treat them well. My brother had a My Buddy (and a My Pet Monster, it was awesome), but we were pretty rough with him. He was more like a wrestling and fighting buddy. Deep down, we were terrified of him because of Child’s Play, so we lashed out by doing karate on him during the day, and locking him in a closet at night and running away from the door.
@Rambler - I heard if you put a Samhain tape in him, he’ll turn into a golden werebear. Just something I heard from someone who knows stuff like this.

Are those action figures from the 80's? They have nostalgic vibe to them for some reason but I could be wrong. 🤷♀️✌️

Aww~ Yeah I heard supposedly the My Buddy doll's were the inspiration for Chuckie in Child's Play. It's ashame that movie had to spook so many 80's kid's from enjoying there My Buddy doll's. It does make me wonder though if Kid Sister ever inspired any characters in movies & TV as well or just her brother~ 😉🤣

That's what I thought~ 😉 One of my friends (he) in the 90's who I went to elementary school with collected those along with nwo, wwf action figures. I used to have a few of the nwo, & wwf action figures as well as a girl. Me & several of my cousin's (girls) we were heavily into watching wrestling with our dad's / uncles back then lol~ 🤣 I had a Stone Cold Steve Austin action figure & my cousin had hulk hogan & triple h action figures~ 🤣💖
@Barbiegurl777 - I don’t think My Buddy is too old for that, not even at 30+ years old, haha. I’ve watched a lot of wrestling off and on throughout my life, I haven’t watched in a while, but I was super into NWA/WCW and watched all through the NWO era. I watched every week with friends, and we’d use the VCR to record Raw so we could watch it after Nitro went off the air. Good times.
Ditto~ I loved the NWO era. I tried still watching WWE now with my dad over the years. He's a whole lot more into it than me with pay per views etc. The past couple of years I hate saying it but I lost interest in it mainly because the storylines at least to me seem like they have got dumb over the years. Wrestling was at its best in the 90's~ 👍 I miss Macho Man, Jake the snake, Shawn Michael's, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Rey Msterio, China. I know some of those wrestlers have passed away. It's just depressing though~ 🤦♀️✌️ Yeah my buddy is either a gen x or millennial. I love the way they designed his face & he has real hair, & some chunkieness to him unlike these newer doll's that super petite with painted on hair... 🤦♀️ I seriously want to cringe when I go into the doll aisle at the store & see doll's with painted on hair. Our doll's in the 90's used to have heads with luscious beautiful silky smooth hair & usually came with a comb or brush to style the doll's hair to teach girls how to style there hair. The painted on hair on the newer doll's is for the birds~ 🤦♀️✌️
@Barbiegurl777 - Jake Roberts doesn’t get mentioned much anymore, but he’s one of my all time favorites. His promos were incredible, his work in the ring was super believable, and his DDT is my favorite finisher ever. I met him at a Legends show about a decade ago. He’s way taller than I ever imagined. A true legend. Loved Savage too of course. I love creating characters on the old THQ wrestling games on N64, and I think Jake is one of my best creations. I love to play Rumbles with him.
My dad met some of the older wrestlers of the 80's / 90's because of working for a rental car place. He said alot of them were nice people but made a mess in the rental cars with food all over the place back then etc lol. Alot of those wrestlers I only saw personally on tv. A few of my friends in elementary school had "wrestling buddies doll's" they were guy's they had: Jake the snake, hulk hogan, & ultimate warrior. They were surprised when I knew the wrestlers as a girl & could say the names of the wrestlers lol. The other girls in my grade at the time (5th) were into American girl doll's which I had / still have zero interest in to this day. My personal opinion is there over priced doll's that do absolutely nothing for there price & a good way for American girl doll industry to make money off kids. I asked some of the girls in my grade that year what the doll did & how much it cost. The doll can move its arms, legs, blink, & to me has a very bland face mold which is the other thing that turned me off completely was the expressionless face of the doll. Plus I found out they charge for all the outfits that are American girl doll outfits. A whole lot more expensive than even build a bear. Plus they charge for the books that come with each doll. What was really crazy I went to our local library when day (8th grade at the time) they had the American girl books FREE to rent for 3 weeks. I wanted soo badly to say something to the girls I went to school with but by that point I was already in a different school from moving & it was to late but still kind of mind blowing seeing that & asking questions a few years before. When I was still in 5th & after asking questions like how much the doll cost etc. Several girls brought there's in class from Christmas break. $100 doll, cost of each outfit, & book. I told them flat out they got rooked. They asked me what I meant & I told them you asked for a doll that does nothing? I told them I got Amazing Amy & said for $100 she came with 2 outfits, 20 to 30 food accessories, talks, & also tells time. I also told in if I was going to ask for a doll why not ask for one with all the bells & whistles. The ones that can move arms, legs, & blink non mechanically wise speaking they could have gone to dollar general for that type of doll & spent maybe $10 if they wanted one like that. Oh well to each there own. I thought for $100 it was a waste of money... 🤷♀️🤦♀️✌️
