I've been disgusted with abc Family lately as the channel had almost gone to the abyss with terrible programming like 'Secret Life of the American Teenager', 'Greek', and 'Pretty Little Liars'. In fact, I had come to the conclusion that the channel should be called 'abc Teenage Girl Centric Channel' rather than abc Family as the channel's original programming was so immoral and mushy that you could view it as a family because the programming was sexually suggestive and outright lame. The only time one could really enjoy the channel is at Christmas during the '25 Days of Christmas' or when abc Family is airing things like The Sound of Music, Narnia, Harry Potter, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Dick Van Dike's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the latter of which doesn't even sound like anything wholesome and safe.
However, the new show 'The Nine Lives of Chloe King' is quite impressive so far and I'm pleased with what I'm seeing. I hope and pray this show stays clean and doesn't get all messed up like Smallville. 'Nine Lives' reminds me a lot of the BBC's Merlin and Robin Hood dramas for some reason or another.

Another morality rant thinly disguised as a thread, but if nine lives gets your holy seal of approval for family friendly ultra sanitized programming, then I'll be happy to put it on my to avoid list thank's for the warning much appreciated.
