Topic: Anime & Manga (NO SPOILERS PLEASE)

Why did Dream Eater Merry have to be such a disappointment? T_T It could have gone somewhere interesting, but it just...didn't. As for anime I'm currently watching, I just started watching Kino's Journey. I liked the first episode and a majority of the second, but the thing that's making me rethink my viewing choice is the fact that the show is trying to make Kino a kick-A person when she really shouldn't be. I understand that she's tough and she can do lots of things, but making her look like an untouchable tough girl when it's already established that she's not just makes me want to slap the director in the face. Also, I want to hurt Cynthia Martinez or whoever decided that Hermes should have a raspy, "Do-you-need-a-lozenge-mate?" voice. All it does is to make me want to disassemble Hermes and crush every single bit of him piece by piece.

...he's a motorcycle, it makes sense for him to have a raspy voice. I didn't like it at first either, but it quickly grew on me. If you hate it so much, just watch the Japanese version--as far as I remember he doesn't sound anything like that in the original.

I read the Manga, though the Anime is actually better from what I've seen. The Manga's a lot slower. It was a very interesting read regardless, though it was quite weird at times.

My friend is obsessed with it, but I've only watched one episode. I think I'll continue it right now.
