How is Rosario+Vampire's anime series? I saw the Season 1 boxset on sale, and I've heard some interesting remarks concerning the anime in the past, so I've been tempted to take a look. Trouble is, I kind of don't wanna spend 30$ and let it feel wasted. I might go look up some of the episodes online later, but I was just wondering if anyone here could give me their impressions/review of said series.
That's it, I'm skipping the rest of the Zanpacuto ark does anyone know what episode it's over?
I'm after Murumasa was beat, and the main story in the arc is over, I started up the episode after that again, and it looks like it won't be the last episode. I just can't watch this for more than one episode.
There has to be space above and below the spoilers.
Also it ends at 265. It's a long filler arc...
Thanks, I can't believe they pushed it that much farther after the actual storyline was done. If they do this again, then I can see why Bleach got cancelled.

It's a waste. Read the manga instead. They literally rip out parts of the plot just so they can add more fanservice.
It's exactly what CanisWolfred said. I became interested in Rosario+Vampire series after reading the comments of a group that loved the anime, so I looked at the manga first; I thought the story was mediocre and very repetitive. Then I compared the manga to the summary of each episode from the anime and got disgusted.

It's embarrassingly fanservicey. It has enough of it to put other fanservice shows to shame, and so if you're a viewer who doesn't like being exploited you won't have a good time.
On the other hand, I found their jokes actually pretty funny sometimes. They had good comic timing, even if some of their jokes were standard fare. Of course, comedy isn't really the point of the manga, but if you're going to watch an otherwise awful anime you might as well find something to enjoy about it.
always thought I'd change to Gyarados after I turned 20 but hey, this is more fitting I guess. (also somebody registered under the original Magikarp name and I can't get back to it anymore orz)
I'm kinda in a pickle.
For the longest time I have been going back and forth as to if i should go back to Fairy Tail and finish it up, because I hate starting something and not finishing it(well i have to watch a considerable amount, if i watch a couple episodes in an anime this wont have any effect.)I ended at episode 135, halfway through the filler season, and i could and would be willing to skip that leaving me about 25 episodes to finish it. Thing is that i regret watching as much as i did in Fairy Tail, and i kinda want to not watch it anymore because of that, on top of that i haven'y seen a Fairy Tail ep in about a year. But, everytime i listen to the music of the series, I always want to go back and watch it.So, I'm constantly going back and forth whether i should finish up what i started or just leave it .
Out of curiosity, is there anyone here who did finish up Fairy Tail?
Okay, so Rosario+Vampire surely is.... Something....
I've been getting into Spice & Wolf as well, actually. From what I've seen, it's really good, but I've also heard that the anime only covers 3 of the 12 (?) novels. Does the anime's plot have an actual resolution of sorts, or does it just stop like the Spiral anime?
Started up Little Busters Refrain! It's been so long since I watched S1 that I forgot half the characters' names and voices. I swear Kud didn't use to sound so unnatural. Yay for a Kurugaya arc, although I don't really like the direction it's going. Japanese bullying is always hard to watch :/

So I finally watched Space Dandy! Well that is definitely the shortest anime I've seen. Alright everyone, time to go see something else-oh? Oh there's more. Well, I can see why everybody was seeming to be opposed to the show at first. Pretty different from Shinichirō Watanabe's past works so I'm guessing it was shock if anything, hah. This thing has like no direction, I think.
Either way I enjoyed it. It was pretty funny and the animation is really fluid and colorful. I can see myself getting a kick out of this anime. I hated the ending to the first episode though. I found it funny, but that stuff annoys me. I didn't know I was watching Aqua Teen here, guise! Meh, in the end I don't care, it's definitely just going to be a fun show. I can use the change of pace. I'll definitely keep watching and I'm sure I'll keep laughing.
