Thank you, Mariofanatic, for reminding me that I need to get some Bleach soundtracks. How is D. Gray Man, btw?
D.Gray man is awesome and has a lot of action but still has a pretty good plot and many of the characters are given good back stories. Fillers are infrequent and when there are fillers, they normally only last for one or two episodes. At times the series can be repetitive but is still entertaining. There have been two series with 103 episodes in total, I'm far from the last episode but I heard that there is supposed to be two more series but it is on hiatus for some reason, I think its something to do with the licensing. Also, it has a good dub.

Thank you, I'll have to check it out.
Also, is there any chance that someone here has seen He is My Master? Because it's a Gainax show, and I'd like to watch it just for that, but the title combined with the maids brings to mind some horrible implications.

I also like The Biggest Dreamer, the Japanese opening theme to Digimon Tamers (mostly because I'm a a Digimon Tamers fanboy). I find it to be a generally good song, but then again I have a terrible taste in music, so I may be completely wrong.
OMG thank you for that!<3 I love Digimon Tamers (seen it 5 times over by now, no joke), and that sounded very fitting for the series!
Not a fan of Naruto bu I LOVE the openings. Like all of them pretty much. lol
OP5 saved that boring, overrated arc.
sadly despite originally being the best part of the series (outside of maybe some a lot of the beloved secondary characters), Shippuden's OPs have been really generic and not that good from what I've seen so far. Everytime a new Naruto OP isn't awesome, I die a little inside.
Recently I've been watching quite a bit of anime by bumming the free Wi-Fi of various establishments. I've watched all three seasons of Nodame Cantabile (an excellent anime, especially for lovers of classical music), rewatched Bamboo Blade (a goofy sports anime based around a kendo club consisting mostly of girls) and One Piece: Strong World (which carried all the hotblooded-ness of the series and had the advantage of being written by Eiichiro Oda himself. If I had broadband at home, well, I don't think I'd leave the computer...
As for the question of favorite character designs, my favorite is definitely Mugen from Samurai Champloo. Now that's a badass through and through. Rough around the edges, but you can tell from the eyes that there's a lot more to his character than just a brash, I-don't-give-a-**** young vagabond from the Ryuukyuus...
Regarding openings, there's plenty of good ones out there, most of which I have on my mp3 player. Endings are also great. I'd make a list, but it'd most likely end up too long...
@WaltzElf: Chi's Sweet Home is such a great series. I don't really consider myself a cat lover, but Chi's adventures and demeanor definitely warm my heart. I need to check out the anime sometime (I read the manga)...

The fourth end theme to FMA Brotherhood (posted the original song's music video because the credits video is spoiler-heavy) is pretty awesome. Shunkan Sentimental - Scandal:
Also, Usagi Drop's titles are really sweet and fitting to the show:

I saw the anime before reading the manga, and there's so, so much personality in it. It's sickly sweet at times, but also funny and sad.
I blame my better half for getting me hooked on Chi.
You guys are reminding why I used to love Naruto so much... Must resist posting music... Okay, maybe just one.
...or two.

I'd like to point out that I wouldn't say any Conan OPs ever if it wasn't for the music outside of 22. Lots of others I like: Detective Conan: OP 2, 6, 9, 13, 16, 17, 20, 25, 28, ED 2, 13, 14, 29, 30 any Naruto series 1 OP except 8, One Piece OP 3 dub and OP 6 sub, Full Metal Alchemist OP 1, 2 and 4, Eureka 7 OP 2, Pani Poni Dash OP 2, FLCL ED, Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei ED 2, Both Haruhi OPs and EDs, K-On season 1 ED, Durarara ED 1, Excel Saga OP, Slayers Next OP

I started re-watching Medabots today! I just had the strangest strong urge to watch the show. Oh man, my childhood...it's so cool! The fights may not be the most intense ones you will ever see in animes, but they're pretty nice! Plus I just love the concept of the Medabots! <3 How I love Metabee, he's so hilarious and awesome. I'm on episode 5 right now. Loving every minute of it so far! ROBATTLE!
I marathoned Outlaw Star yesterday, and it was one hell of a ride. The characters are as great as I remembered, Aisha in particular. Plus, its ending gave me the one thing I thought Samurai Champloo's lacked...
I also started up Kimi ni Todoke; I've watched up to episode 13 so far. It's even cuter than the manga, though I still feel it has some pacing issues for a shojo (then again, I keep comparing it to Bokura ga Ita, so that might have something to do with it)...

Ah yes, another show from my childhood. It was okay, in retrospect. Metabee really steals the show. Man, I used to be so obsessed with it, though, to the point where I was drawing up my own designs (most of which sucked and were stupidly overpowered). Glad to see you still love it after all these years.
Actually, I myself had my own nostalgia trip today when I decided to watch a few episodes of Gundam Wing with the Japanese subs. I must say, while I missed the english voice actors, the Japanese ones did a far better job - they hit all the right notes that I wanted them to hit and brought the show to a whole 'nother level. And really the show itself has a level of coolness that I just can't explain. I love it so much.
Meanwhile, I'm also watching After War Gundam X and Mobile Suit Gundam. Gundam X just keeps getting better, and the new 'suit seems incredible. I really can't wait to see more of it! Meanwhile Gundam has been just as good as it always was.
I was obssesed too. I use to force my cousins to play pretend Medabots with me and would always watch the show. I'd have to agree with you on the show only being ok, though. It's just covered in so much nostalgia. Metabee was always the best part of the show for me. "Dude, I rock!"
I might just start watching more childhood animes. I'm really tempted to watch the original beyblade. I know the concept of spinning tops saving the world is so dumb, but the battles were just so awesome and magical as a kid.

I've watched the first few episodes and liked it quite a bit, since a friend really liked it I gave it a chance since the style normally wouldn't fit my interest at all.
