Well I was walking out of the office with my phone in hand when the Ubidancing started.
The most enjoyable part of E3 for me so far has been the live chat.

@Dezzy Haha, yes!
I like games, and I equally like people being able to play things I may not necessarily enjoy. It’s all about the fun as far as I’m concerned, but there’s so many things I’ve seen and just thought “Why?” Instead of “Not for me, but I’m sure someone will like it.”
Just feels sort of empty so far this year. Could very well be my tastes, sure. But that’s not the vibe I’m getting. I’ve only got my Switch now, and nothing I’ve seen makes me wish I had an X1 again. And I’ve got a feeling I’ll mostly be playing Ninty first party most of the year remaining.

Ubisoft may have left Sam Fisher as just a character in a mobile game rather than announcing a new Splinter Cell game but at least all the old games are now playable on XB1 (Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory, Double Agent are all coming to backwards compatibility).
@Spanjard I know, just commenting on how much it shows Wii U was left in the dust. I know why they released it for Wii, though, don't get me wrong.
Someone put me in a time machine, I wish it was Tuesday now. At least it won't be long. Honestly, I'll be happy with whatever Nintendo shows. I have my speculations and things I wanna see, but the Nintendo show is always my favorite at e3. I know it's easy to say e3 has sucked so far (tbh I'm not a fan of much of the offerings myself) but it seems like a lot of Ubisoft's games just looked... samey. I'm sure there's someone out there who is super stoked about them, and good for them! But they kind of all just blended together for me.
For Square tonight, if Secret of Mana collection is announced, I'll have to buy that. I've never really played the series and need more retro JRPGs in my life.
@PK_Willow Yeah, I’m on a similar wavelength. I’m not a follower of the series that Bethesda and Ubi have put emphasis on, so it kinda blended together for me.
The LRG/LucasArts team up could be neat.

The trailers sorta ran together (not as nearly as bad as Ubisoft) and besides the beginning, nearly the whole stream was trying to be the self-aware jokes about e3 culture thing but only half as effective. But there was a bunch of switch games announced. There was that.

Square saved E3 lol! Hyperbole aside, I've never even played a Final Fantasy game before but I'm so down for the Remake, solid conference overall. Easily the best thus far.
Probably would rank the PC conference a bit higher than Square in terms of conference and such. Square’s was largely Final Fantasy and while FF7 remake looks good and atmospheric (almost reminds me of Resident Evil), but not my cup of tea. Besides that it was largely games we already knew about that I’m not particularly excited for.
Just finished watching the Square-Enix conference. I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered. I remember renting this one when it was on GameCube, though ended up playing single player mode as I only have one GBA-to-GC cable.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Ugh, Ubi truly dissapointed me with Sam on that mobile game. He deserves better than that, if they want to gauge interest then remaster one of the old games.
So: Final Fantasy VII Remake looks gorgeous and incredible. This stomps all over Cyberpunk and everything else. It's going to be such a long wait until next March.
@SKTTR Square-Enix has done a bang up job supporting the Switch so far. Lots of big releases.
Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)
