Topic: All-Encompassing E3 2019 Thread

Man, I hope we see those Star Wars games! I m so excited!

I'm actually semiexcited for Watchdogs Legion. Actual Permadeath in a modern non-roguelike game? Pretty crazy. First game that's excited me all E3, but we'll see if it turns out well. Looks like it's 3-4 years out anyways.

40 minutes into Ubisoft and welp, Nintendo is really the only ones who can save E3 at this point lol...

Wow that Ubisoft presentation was a boring waste of time, turned it off during the Just Dance part. Legion looks promising though.

Breath of Fire was Capcom. They're currently dragging the series through the smartphone swamp.

So:
1. No Rayman
2. No Splinter Cell
3. No Prince of Persia
4. No Assassin's Creed
5. No Beyond Good and Evil
6. No Ubiart games / Child of Light 2 / any new IP
7. Basically no game that wasn't a shooter.
8. Almost all DLC announcements, Movies, Subscriptions, TV Shows etc.

I dunno how they'll salvage this.

Had some of the E3 stuff on being home for the past few days. Being a PC gamer, I got super excited yesterday upon seeing Phantasy Star Online 2 get announced for Xbox One and Windows PC.

So far, just waiting to see what Nintendo brings to the table. I usually pay attention to Nintendo and Microsoft for their PC games.

@Dezzy my mistake, been decades since I played so memory is foggy, appreciate the correction.

@Sunsy ... Nintendo doesn’t make PC games.

@Kyogre101 I know that, I said "Microsoft for their PC games" since some of the stuff they show goes onto PC too. I play both Nintendo consoles and PC games. Apologies for the confusion.

Gods and Monsters* has me intrigued...everything else, not so much.

*Anyone else get a BoTW reveal vibe from it?

Did I miss Assassin's Creed? Or did they?

@Buizel The art style, that zoom in to the girl-person-whatever standing with his/her/its back to the camera... that had to be intentional.

Good god, that was one of the worst conferences I've ever seen!

@Dezzy They only announced two new games, AC wasn't one of them.

Well that was terrible. Watch Dogs Legion looks promising and that Gods and Monsters game screamed BotW but that was about it.

Also the Wii outlived the Wii U lol

E3 is terrible so far.

As I said before, the last big wave of new titles for the twins was announced last year. Basically biding their time until the next gen reveal blowout next year.

Ubisoft's conference was sanity draining. Military shooters with forced cursing. With maybe a few interesting games. Terrible.
