@Dezzy That makes sense. My monitor's 1440p and only slightly smaller than my TV (about 28" I think), so I find that the resolution bump works wonders for it since I sit so much closer.

I was hoping Inside Xbox would show of Microsoft Flight Simulator. That and FH4 Lego Speed Champions were my favourite things from the MS conference. I honestly can't wait to play MFS!

Honestly that Flight Simulator was really beautiful. If I could play that in VR, I think I would spend a decent chunk of time with it

@PikPi One of my ambitions has been to become a pilot, so I've tried my fair share of flight sims. This is by far the most beautiful and even if the controls might be unintuitive with an Xbox controller, I'm definitely buying this when it launches next year!

@Matthew010 have you looked into getting a flight stick? I know Thrustmaster has one for the Xbox one

One day to go! And now that we know the length of the presentation, it's time for me to weigh in-

I think (sorry, know) Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion 3 will take up a good portion of this presentation. Maybe one to start and one towards the end. Since we now know the Direct will be 40 minutes, they can afford to spend some considerable time on each with MM2 and Sword and Shield being talked about recently. Maybe like... 7-10 minutes of each? And who knows, it could be longer, but that's my bare minimum. Official names and release dates would be nice.

Speaking of Maker 2, I think it will get a mention, but I'm not expecting anything more. Any Extra Styles we get will likely be covered in a future Direct. I also expect Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 3 to get briefly mentioned, too.

As for DLC, we all know about Smash. And honestly, I think there is a strong chance we will get two characters revealed. Ignoring the last time Smash DLC was featured at E3, which actually helps this prediction, if they are to get all the characters out by February of next year, like they said, they need to pick up the pace, especially after how long it felt for Joker to release. If we did get two, I really hope we get gameplay for at least one. As for who exactly will get in? I'm not the best of these predictions, as Sakurai is Sakurai, but there simply has to be a Microsoft rep. The conditions are right for it to happen, either Banjo and Kazooie (Hope I spelled that right) or Master Chief.

Speaking of Microsoft, how about another Xbox title being ported to Switch? Ori or anything else. Ahem. Master Chief Collection.

Then we have some intangible predictions- Prime Trilogy, Bayonetta 3, whatever Indie titles there could be, DLC for other games, Link's Awakening, that one big surprise we will surely be getting, etc, etc, etc. I could talk on and on about these, but others have likely done so far better than I could. I doubt this year will be heavy on surprises, because they are focusing on games launching this year, but come on, Ninty- we need a big reveal!

@redd214 I think depending on how difficult or easy it is to play with the standard Xbox controller I would look to invest in a stick, but as of now, no I haven't looked.

Holy . Zoo Tycoon spiritual successor. This E3 has no more need for anymore announcements for me since that game is the winner. )

Quick prediction: Ubisoft won't show a new Nintendo collaboration today. We'll get Mario + Rabbids 2 revealed next year. Just Dance and that roller derby game are the only things Switch related they have today.

Square Enix's 1 hour conference will mostly be FFVIIR and Avengers, with Babylon's Fall, Oninaki, Crystal Chronicles HD, DQ Builders 2, DQXIS, and that other game they teased recently taking up the rest. Secret of Mana Collection is the surprise announcement.

@IceClimbers There will be tears of joy if Mana Collection is real.

@Octane dang. I felt embarrassed now, although my friend did say that it was shown in e3 so I assumed that it was announced there Dx woops

(Still excited it's being made though! One of my childhood game)

Grumblevolcano

So is Nintendo Life doing a stream chat for Ubisoft? That's starting in 15 minutes.

Octane

@darkfenrir Yeah, I like the first two games. Too bad Microsoft removed them from their online store and refuses to sell them on Steam or GOG. No way to get the games legally anymore. At least not without hunting down a second hand copy; but I don't even have a disc drive anymore.

I know Avengers is probably going to be great, and I'm sure FF7R will show well but what I really hope for is for Square to bring back some of those classics, Illusion of Gaia, Breath of Fire, Secret of Evermore. Release all their classics from the SNES Era on the eshop!!

Magician

Limited Run presentation in less than 15 minutes. I look forward to everything Switch related. Va-11 Hall-a would be best, save me the trouble of importing that one. While they're at it, maybe La-Mulana 2 as well? Everything else is gravy because they already have my business regardless.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,533 games (as of December 8th, 2025)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

darkfenrir

@Octane Microsoft why

And now to hope for Red Alert 2 ever be remastered with only HD graphics. No need for gameplay fix... Just fix the resolution and it's fine.
