Man, I really loved when Nintendo did those Best Buy E3 demo things. I remember waiting in line to play 3D World, and being absolutely cruel during the demo because the one with the highest points got a little commemorative coin. It was me, my ex at the time, and another couple. I still feel a bit silly for trying so hard for a coin, but it was a fun memory and everyone had fun regardless.
When they stopped doing it, I was bummed out, but at least this is something somewhat similar to that. It's just a fun atmosphere to be in. Was similarly bummed when Sony stopped their E3 theater experience things
I highly doubt Animal Crossing's been delayed just because it doesn't appear on the playable demo list. I might have been wrong about when it would be out, but I'm not wrong when I say it is a series you want people to experience for themselves - and how would the demo work for an open life sim game with absolutely no objectives or tasklists? You'd have to force a timer onto it, and I don't think Nintendo would want to be doing that.
I doubt Animal Crossing's is delayed. I think they'll show it in the Treehouse in detail, but no on the floor since its not a very good fit for a demo, unless they want to show only minigames or stuff like that.
Maybe AC will be getting it’s final name at the show (assuming there’s a demo) and that’s the reason that they didn’t list it as part of the playable demos. Remember “and more”
In the predictions my nephew and I make for E3 I guessed Nintendo’s published games (And the one’s they’re likely to promote big) would be released:
Jun- Mario Maker 2
Jul- Dragon Quest builders 2/Marvel Heroes 3/Fire Emblem
Aug- Town/Astral Chain
Sept- Daemon X Machina/Luigi’s Mansion
Oct- Dragon Quest XI/Links Awakening
Nov- Pokemon/Something New
Dec-Animal Crossing
Admittedly this is just guesses to when things are releasing, and assumes we’ll get one surprise but it does show there is enough games to have 2 games a month up to the usual final early December release. I very much doubt they’ll be more Nintendo pushed stuff, but I’d guess we’ll get a bunch of 3rd party stuff like FIFA and Just Dance and Doom Eternal, plus some lower level current 3rd party current gen stuff and some older ports.
I’m guessing if we get any more surprises, they’ll be small teasers for 2020.
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
I don't think we'll get another release on November, with Gen VIII launching. That's gonna be Pokemon month, and whatever could be released alongside it will surely have its sales affected by it.
For those paying attention to the other conferences, it's time to go dark as one of Microsoft's announcements - Ninja Theory's new game - has been leaked.
@Luna_110@MrGawain There's probably a few third parties they'll advertise big in November as they did last year, with Diablo III / Civilization VI / WoFF:Maxima / Warframe all coming out alongside Pokemon after getting some significant attention in Directs.
I feel like LM3 will be an October game. For some odd reason I feel like Zelda is going to get tossed into December. To round up the non pokemon fans.

I'm a Dream Fighter. Perfume is Love, Perfume is Life.
I think it's very weird Super Mario Maker 2, Fire Emblem Three Houses and Astral Chain aren't playable either.
On another note, Indie Day 2019 reminded me a lot of E3 2015 where Nintendo had a prominent indie presence and some of those indie games playable at E3 got eshop demos for those not attending like Freedom Planet.
A screenshot from the new Tales game, Tales of Arise has popped up. Apparently it's going to be shown during the Xbox show, and is also arriving on PS4. Don't know about a Switch version. It's ditching the anime visuals for a more naturalistic, albiet fantastical, look..
Spoiler Free Description:
New entry in a long running series reportedly coming to Xbox & PS4 (don't know if it's coming to Switch), to be revealed at the Xbox show. It's ditching it's traditional art direction for something new.
Read about it over on Push Square (Note, their article isn't spoiler free).
EDIT: Apparently nearly all of Bandai Namco's lineup has leaked.
In addition to Tales of Arise, a Ni No Kuni remaster & a From Software collaboration with the author of Game of Thrones have also leaked, as well as some details about Cyberpunk 2077, which BN is publishing in Europe.
Well the supposed leak for the next Tales game makes it look like they've finally made a game based on the current hardware. The last 2 were still essentially PS3 games.
@Dezzy, at first glance I thought they were completely doing away with the anime aesthetic, and I wasn't sure how I felt about that, but upon closer inspection it appears that the character has "anime hair", so it'll probably end up like DQXI, with naturalistic (yet vivid) environments, but still have anime-esque character designs, which I can get on board with.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy highly realistic looking games like God of War & Spider-Man as much as the next guy, but variety is the spice of life, plus I like it when Japanese games retain their Japanese roots in some form or another.
