Does Nintendo update games via patches to make 3DS games released before Amiibo launch to be compatible with it? The main reason I ask this is because I find Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon difficult with no checkpoints and was wondering if there’s any hope of updates for it to be compatible with Amiibo to make the game easier. I know it came out 5 years ago but with Luigi’s Mansion 1 release maybe they will do updates for Dark Moon?
Animal Crossing New Leaf is the only game I can think of that has received such an update. I don't think they're likely to do it for any other games unfortunately.
