Topic: Why does the report function exist?

...Seriously, every now and then I'll check the alerts on the dashboard and the page just gets filled up with unread alerts. I really do feel like I'm the only one that actually checks, I can't handle everything here.

Although some mods here still do their job, I do think we need like, a new batch or something.

@Joeynator3000 I check it at least twice a day, and I usually clean up the page in the evening.

I know you're one of the mods I was talking about, same with Morph or whatever his name is now. lol

@Joeynator3000 Blame NintendoLife for putting out those sensitive articles without a warning The damage is usually done by the time I notice the comment section. Maybe they should adopt something similar to PushSquare, where the staff is also active in the comments. Just to keep it on track for the first hour or so.

Yeah, I mean I do see some of them posting every now and then.

Same, I check in on it at least once a day and clear things up. I don’t think we’re doing a bad job at all!

@Joeynator3000 On the other hand, I don't even know all the moderators on NLife. Only a handful of them are active I think.

What does one have to do to become a moderator?

I mean, all I did was ask Ant/Lz and...um...TA-DAAAAAAH!

Anyways I do think you should be a regular member here that's been around for a while. (although I've noticed people I've barely seen become mods before) Anyways usually an admin or site owner would make a thread for mod applications and all that. So...up to them.

Sometimes, there were annoying trollers came to me with trash comments.
I need to report their attitudes in this website.

Sometimes I find at least on Push Square that it sometimes takes a few hours for the reports to show up in the alert section.

I have to admit that I don't visit the report page too often. Mostly because I visit the page on mobile 90% of the time and it's a bit slow.

When I do though, I try to take care of everything I can.

Maybe integrating it with a notification system would be nice?
