@antdickens The thread I’m watching is the VGM tournament one. I want to still get notifications on this site when there’s new posts (like when new rounds are posted, so I can vote on them), but I don’t want to be emailed about it. Like, if you mention me in this thread, I get a notification on this website, but it doesn’t email me. You can’t have that option for watching thread.
If you can’t add that, it’s not that big of a deal, it’s just sort of annoying that my email inbox is flooded with those notifications.
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
What if the site had a little optional, collapsible/hide-able, sidebar or top menu called "inventory" (or something game-like like that) where the user can save and arrange a few forums and topics/articles to get instant access to them from anywhere on the site.
It would show if there's new comments, so it would be like an evolved watch list.
@BabyYoda71 OK, that's fair — if it made use of the 'notifications' system then yeah it would make more sense. We'll certainly look to do that at some point.
@Rambler I've clicked the 'Stop Watching' button on that thread for you, so it should now no longer be 'Watched' by you.
@Kermit1@Tasuki yeah, the formatting options/help will be displayed when I get around to doing the new post editor — one day! At the moment it's kind of nice not to encourage too much formatting as it tends to keep things simple.
@Eel I mean, I guess that's what the watching is for, but yeah it could certainly be easier to access. Will look at that in the future and have made a note.
@Ninfan I don't think our data would be a definitive list on that, as so many games are getting physical releases after their initial eshop release these days... it's really hard to track
@Zuljaras umm, not specifically no. Although the plan is to make the article comments threaded at some point therefore wouldn’t really need the quote feature.
@Zuljaras@Kermit1 yeah kind of, threaded like you see on lots of other sites so replies sit under the comment you’re replying to. At least to a certain level of nesting.
Was wondering if we might get a review of Citizen Sleeper, which releases today. It has reviewed pretty well so far (84 on OpenCritic, 82 on MetaCritic) and seems to have a super well-realized artstyle and interesting world.
