I said to put any conditions you have in your signature, I said nothing about pictures, and if you wanted pictures you can upload them to photobucket and copy the IMG code and paste it into your signature.

Ok @lunchmeats101 the chat has given me the hardest time lately, no matter what I change, no matter what I do it wont work. I believe its the smiles and translations, but I could be wrong. Also for some reason all the scripts aren't reading the user session, no idea why!

when i try sending you email bubby it wont send!! when i click on send it takes me to a blank page were it says loading on the very top of the top screen but it wont even send!!

Clearly it still isn't reading the $_SESSION variable. I'm stuck.

I wonder if their would be a better way for me to have the script store the variable possibly? I too am stuck.

There is obviously a problem on my part with storing the session varaible, I'll look into it...

Well, your #1 problem appears to be that you have this line in a file called "message.html":

var username=<?php echo $_SESSION["username"]?>;

That's not going to work unless you change the file to be called "message.php".

The second problem is that your mail.xml file is empty. The XML parser is going to error out if there's nothing to parse. Plus the way you've got it setup, the script is always going to error out if you don't have the user in the XML file. If you think about it, that's not a good design. You're going to have to add to the file every time a user registers on the site. That file is going to get huge. Not to mention the possibility of two messages being sent at the same time. Two simultaneous writes on the file could cause messages to get lost or worse, the entire file could get corrupted.

Obviously, there are also security implications to consider when you're sending everyone's email to everyone. What you should do is have a mail file for each user, then return the file from a PHP script. The script can check who the current user is and ensure that only that user's file gets returned.

Hopefully, that info will fix you guys up, If the problem turns out to be deeper, I'll try to help if I can.
