1. To kill an enemy all you had to do is tap it...
2. Phantom Hourglass was birds eye view...

The system they set up for Phantom Hourglass was tolerable and it was still a good game, but looking at the new game, Spirit Tracks , and seeing it birds-eye view, doesn't make me want to leap to buy the game.
Also, I think that if the camera was behind Link, touch screen controls wouldn't work well, because if an enemy was infront of you, then you could not even notice because Link's head could be blocking it lol.

for Spirit Tracks, I will probably wait for review before getting it.

They don't have to use touch controls they could use buttons for game play.

Wind Waker was assome. Hourglass Sucked. I have the same feeling with spirit tracks. Also two of the reasons I thought hourglass sucked is,
1. To kill an enimie all you had to do is tap it, come on a 3 year old could do that.
2. The camera, the ph was birds eye view it made it way to easier.

Those aren't good reasons why it sucked. A three year old can press the B button (A three year old is smarter than you think you know). And the camera was like that because it was overhead like every handheld Zelda game.

Also in ph you have one item out and ready to use in wind waker you can have 3 items ready to use. Also when you want to change the pre set item on wind waker it pauses on ph it dose not but that could mean positive for both because, it could be more like real life.

Yeah, please don't use innovative and fun interfaces!! Just use buttons again... No, seriously, the NDS Zeldas' style and gameplay are awesome, so stop whining. Or just go play Wind Waker again, if you like it so much.

Because it was like overhead Zelda. In the Handheld ones, there arent enough buttons to have 3 weapons ready. Thats only in the 3D games.

Incorect, on seasons and other old games you can have two.

PH used alot of new ideas so the devopers took a safe path and risked makeing the game to easy rather then to hard.

Seriously! Now that I've experienced the amazing touch controls of PH, I don't ever want to go back to button controls on handhelds again.

I thought that PH was a great sequel to Wind Waker (and Wind Waker is my favorite game of all time, just to put things in perspective). Yeah, it was very easy, but that doesn't mean it wasn't fun. The touch controls made the game unique, and I vastly prefer them to button controls. The note-taking system was the best addition to the franchise since Z-Targeting, and the new twists on the items breathed some new life into the series. While I really hope that Wind Waker isn't the last Cell-shaded Zelda game on a home console, I do think that the visual style is perfectly suited for the DS, and I'm really looking forwad to seeing how it works on land in Spirit Tracks.
