I beat it yesterday....so about 4 days after I got it. I did the same thing with Soul Silver. This time I tried....I really tried to take it easy and not rush through it but before I knew it I look at the game clock and it says I've logged 25 hours! WTF!
I beat both the main quest as well as Champion Alder after that. Took me about six days. Now I'm focusing on collecting all the Pokémon, particuarly the ones in the Unova Pokédex.
This is by FAR, the easiest game in the series. That's why I think the 4th generation games were better.
that's odd, ! For me, it's the hardest, as it's the more balanced ...
Really? The Gym Leaders were ridiculous pushovers. No additional types ruining strategies or tricky movesets. Even the Pokémon League was a joke. After beating the main quest is when the trainers really get tough.
Well I struggled a bit with the Fouth and the Fifth, but sure it got quite simpler. I think it's also due to the fact that when you fight a dude 2 or 3 levels higher, you do peanuts damage-wise (even with the super effective), and also the XP ratio is a lot more restraint, with less XP given fighting a weaker Mon.
