Topic: The Starfy Topic

I picked up Starfy on Thursday I believe (for the nice price of $10, cart only), and beat it tonight. Twas quite an enjoyable game, and I'm looking forward to completing it over the next few days.
Moe was kind of a nuisance though...

Sweet game. Super easy, but equally enjoyable, so I think most people can enjoy it so long as they don't dislike cute things.

(I know that this topic has been done, but without a search function, the only option of finding related threads is a slow one)

I'm suprised Starboy likes Moe so much though, there's a very strong contrast between the two of them.

I got the Legendary Starfy, and loved it, but there was this HUGE difficulty spike at the final boss. Who can mash buttons that fast?

There was a cheat.You had to slide your finger across it.Also how could you play this game that fast?I got sick after a while.Also did anyone beat the second final boss?

Starfy is a bit of a underrated game: It is Kirby lite but its so incredibly charming that you end up forgiving the fact that a lot of levels are simply just getting from A to B. It gets better after the first world or 2

The option to co-op in certain sections and bosses is nice too if you have a friend handy and the unlockables are pretty neat: also like Moe's Show, which is utterly useless as a game function but pretty funny to watch, specially after newer characters show up!

The only thing is I got the feeling your not supposed to know Bunston's a Prince right from the off, though all Nintendo Press Material pretty much gives that one away. That said players likely will suss it before the games cast does ;P

I wasn't expecting an international release so I bought the Japanese version.
A great game, but a lot more text than I would have thought.

The Legendary Starfy is the best DS game I've yet played. Sure, it's easy, but finding every secret in the game is fun. The best 2D/3D blending graphics engine I've yet seen, a catchy soundtrack, and great gameplay. It's also got fun boss fights and good stage designs. Plus, trying to get all the collectibles and defeat the true secret final boss is fun as well. Plus, Starfy and Bunston make a great team. :3 Moe is an awesome clam: he's got great dialogue, and funny facial expressions. Even though I'll admit that I'm much nicer than him. And I like making avatars of Moe, my favorite Starfy character. It's a lot of fun, and it improves my artistic talent on the computer. I'm good at drawing on paper.

@Digiki - I'm not offended by your thoughts on Moe, so it's okay. Also, glad you liked it. It is a sweet game, and one I loved since I first turned it on back when I bought it six months ago.

I hope more Starfy games will be released outside Japan.

I picked the game up tonight, and I am enjoying it. It's like Kirby, simple and fun. I think the game has some great style to it, and even though it is extremely easy, I will probably hold onto it for those days I just wanna relax and play something I don't have to really worry about.
