I'm from Europe so I have to wait until November, but yeah, I'm excited! Hopefully we won't have to wait that long until the next one for the 3DS.

I'm going to get this game b/c it looks like something I'd like with great artwork and that cool mini-rpg, but I haven't played the other 3. Does anyone think that would be a problem? Should I rent and play the other 3 first? Are all of them must-plays?

From a chronological perspective, Last Specter is actually the first game in the series, followed by two yet-to-be-released 3DS titles. Additionally, the games are really good at summarizing the events of previous games, so if you played Unwound Future before before Curious Village and/or Diabolical Box, you shouldn't have any problem enjoying it. So, it shouldn't be that big of a problem to play Last Specter first.

I'm looking forward to it - I own the other 3 but haven't really played them much. Even so, this should be good! London Life is a nice bonus but it's a pity that it's not in the PAL release - I much prefer the box art of the latter (I don't know when I started caring about box art, but I'm sad to say it's influenced my purchases on more than one occasion!)

I used to have a blog link here. I'll put it back up when the blog has something to read.

thanks for the input, that makes me feel better about just starting with the new one. Maybe I'll get the others used if I end up loving it.
