Topic: Professor Layton & the Diabolical Box?

I am in the final tower of curios village have 57 coins and 111 puzzles solved. Still haven't beaten it 13 hours of gameplay so far though

Diabolical box has better "controls"(It has a memo mode for writing). DB also has better minigames, but Curious village has a better story in my opinion.

I now beat the game with 116 puzzles solved 60 hint coins and 13 hours 43 minutes games time

My picarats score is 3925

^Lol. This was a spectacular game! I've just beaten it. I kinda...played it a long time yesterday, but the game just kept getting better, and I really wanted to know what was going to happen next. My favorite cutscene is still from the first game though. You know, the one that involves a ferris wheel...

And the voice acting is superb.

But lukes voice gets annoying

It's great, really. The puzzles are fun and the story is better than the first one in my opinion. (Not to say the story isn't good in the first one, I just like this one better.) And the Memo function helps with alot of puzzles.

So basically I'd give Village an 8 and Box a 9.

They should make books for Professor Layton. With illustrations, of course.

EDIT: And the music is better in Diabolical Box.

Agreed. I feel like Diabolical Box is a bit easier, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Curious Village - 8.
Diabolical Box - 9.

Both are great, though, I just prefer the story and characters in Diabolical Box.
