Using a \" like with other popular languages, but it didn't work. You'll have to settle with '. If there was a way to use " please tell me! I could sure use it!
Also, I have a prob. I want to continue with Minecraft DS and MCDSEdit, but after so much constant work, I can't find myself doing it. It's just frustration now. Should I endure and continue, or give the program to someone else to finish? This isn't a joke guys. I'm being serious.
If Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat were all destroyed, 90% of teens would go insane. If you're one of the 10% that would be laughing at them, copy & paste this into your signature and hope it happens.
If 3DS PTC had 3D graphics design, that would be one of the coolest things they could add. My highest hope is that they remove the SENDFILE and RECVFILE menus, that would be probably one of the best things they could do. That hope is one of the most popular so there's a great chance of having that part removed.

Doing this is always frustrating. That's one of the biggest challenges in making the program. The end result is another thing to consider. Imagine looking at all of the upgrades you could make. Then remembering that you did that. Being frustrated is part of development. I get frustrated with Apocalypse Rising a lot, I never deleted it saying "AH FORGET THIS PROJECT IT'S TOO FRUSTRATING I'M DONE!" It's simply something you know you'll run into. So get into that code and keep developing these programs, okay Persson? (Hey, it felt appropriate at this situation. And yes, I edited the name in the quote.)
Oops nevermind about no double quotes. Use CHR$(34). So to do: PRINT """
I'll do: PRINT CHR$(34)
And the output: "
So yea. To do an if statement, instead of: IF JUICE$==""" THEN...
Do: IF JUICE$==CHR$(34) THEN...

This is all "90" sprites in petit computer being emulated. With their independent CHR numbers.
I'm only using SPU1 right now because it's the most appealing.
There's alot of work to do with the sprite system before it's perfect but it's coming along and I already managed to optimize transparently drawn sprites.
There will be some custom things in my emulator that aren't available in petit computer but for now it's just more sprite based commands.
Let's face it, the text based commands are so easy to emulate I can do those anytime. I want to get sprite based stuff going.
Now how to format sprites so that each one can have it's own images.. hm without lag. Because in ptc the sizing changes the way sprites are drawn.
Grab image commands in real time are too slow and will definitely slow down the emulator (I can grab a piece of the sprite sheet and render it as a sprite directly to the screen with transparency and a different pallete) but really that's alot of stuff.
Any ideas guys on how to simplify the process?
I was thinking of storing in memory sprites of each size (but what if you offset and have different sized sprites in the same sheet? some games do it) but rarely I suppose since sheets are always formatted to a specific sprite size that wont be too hard?
I dunno. I could just have the sprite's size and then a quick grab when spset is called so that a new sheet for that sprite is prepared
(in this case a sheet is an image array consisting of sprite 0 to 192) IF the sprite is sized to be 16X16.
P.S. I'm in the wiki chat no one else is there it seems.

FC: WIll post later.
Systems I own: ds lite, 3DS, PC/gaming, steam platform. I play alot of games. Just ask ! Minecraft anyone? :D
@Persson I agree with @0Games. Programming wouldn't be programming if it wasn't frustrating. I don't think that MCDS or MCDSEdit would be the same without you programming it. You has skill and Programming will put that skill to good use. Don't quit. Do what you do best, Program!
EDIT: Anyone want an updated MCDS Launcher?
Features
MCDS Beta 1.6.5
MCDS Beta 1.6.6
Alpha versions available to launch

GCOPY takes an optional first argument which is the page to copy from. So to copy the entire screen from graphics page 1 (which is the default page of the lower screen), you'd do:
Thank you. I need it for my Window Manager which occupies the lower screen so that all the graphics get copied up when the keyboard is needed.
You can even do that a little more simply by using GPAGE to display page 1 on the top screen, like so: GPAGE 0,1,1
To display page 0 on the top screen again, just do: GPAGE 0,0,0
Wow, @TexMurphy the bullet tutorial is really helpful! When I work on this, the console page is full of:
LOAD"FOLLOW4
OK
LOAD"ARISING
OK
SAVE"ARISING
OK
So on and so forth, over and over again.
@0Games you can combine programs together. Open the base program then type in APPEND"NAMEHERE" to place another program at the bottom of the existing one. Then you may adapt it for your own purposes. No need to jump between programs. @TheGreatBurrito what exactly do you need help with?

Oh, okay, thanks. That will save me a lot of loading and saving.
@TAINT_Zzyex what is Tales of Alzonia gonna be like? Such as:Story, features,is it Choose Your Own Adventure, and things like that. I'm always up for a Text-Adventure!
