Topic: Need help in Pokemon. (Platinum)

I'm at the Battle Area or whatever you call it, and I'm trying to bring a good team with me so I can rack up so BP for some TMs. I have a lot of Pokemon but I dunno what to mix with what to make a great team, since they get KO'ed eventually. I do have some attacking powerhouses like Garchomp and Metagross, and they do quite well but like I said they get KO'ed eventually when I start getting streaks. So...help. XD

Tips or something, anything will do, thanks. Oh yeah, anyone know where I can get Thunder/Fire Fang? Thinking about getting it for my Garchomp and Arcanine.

Try sites like Serebii or seach up guides on Google.

The most important thing is to get three pokémon that cover as many different types as possible.

There's a strategy for the Battle Hall I thought up. You know how pokémon eventually start getting more moves effective against your pokémon even if they have types weak against your pokémon? Well, I was thinking, if you get Sableye or Spiritomb which, beaing Dark/Ghost, don't have any weakenesses to any type, you might be able to avoid a bit of trouble. I haven't tested it though.

I've gotten as far as beating the Tower Tycoon but the rest are too frustrating for me.

Make sure your pokemon can quickly defeat any pokemon that is a threat to yours. Just try to get moves that cover their weakness' and you should be fine.

shedinja and a normal type pokemon with skill swap is difficult to beat

Ice Beam is your friend, make sure at least ONE of your Pokemon has it

It's super effective against Grass, Ground, Dragon, Flying and Rock, which covers a lot of Pokemon.
