I've played with MyPostcard, and it's a great little application.
But no, no WiFi as far as I could tell. The ability to throw it on a SD card and then e-mail it around is a good, easy way to say "hello" while travelling around though.
When/where did you have the opportunity to play it?
@bobpie there's a huge difference between a useful app [like myNotebook], and a shovelware app [like mario clock]. @waltzelf do you have the interview on a website? I would like to read/hear it

To be honest, although I can't tell for sure whether or not you're being truthful, this sounds like a great alternative to Wi-fi sharing.
No mention of MyPostcard in there, as he wasn't ready to announce it to public at the time. Seems to be ok now, though.

Truthful?
When you're done making the postcard, it saves to the DS' album. You can then copy it to an SD card inserted into the DS, copy it to your computer from there, and send it around.
Or you could upload it to Facebook and share it that way. Plenty of options.
If there is no Wi-Fi, my percent of buying this goes down dramatically. I was going to buy this 100%, but now.. I'm not so sure. I MIGHT if it's 200 points. Any more, no way. And I was REALLY liking the My Life Collected Series.
It seems really unlikely that this would be higher than 200 points when compared to MyNotebook. I mean it would be a million times better than that sparkle stupid app Nintendo came out with.
Wait a minute, isn't nnooo the company that said Nintendo wouldn't allow them access to Wi-Fi or SD cards? How the heck is this supposed to work, Facebook?

Are you a young teenage girl? No?
Mabye, just mabye, the Sparkle App wasn't for you then. There's more teenage girls with a DSi than any other demographic... and, in fact, that's the demographic Nnooo is after with MyPostcard too. It's just more muted in presentation to appeal to a broader demographic.
All I'm saying is that to me, it looks like something I would never use....
So something Bobpie would never use = shovelware.
Awesome. I didn't realise the centre of the universe could be found on Nintendolife, but here it is, under the disguise of... Bobpie
Hey, I have a right to an opinion.
To me it LOOKED like a random lightweight application, so don't flame me.
Now you know better than to call things out as shovelware before you've actually used it. Claiming something is "Shovelware" is not an opinion, it's an objective claim.

I've already said the postcards are saved to the DSi's memory. You transfer them to SD card from there.

Stop it. I am not against Nnooo, but may I remind you about earlier apps in this style?

And I never accused myPostcards of being shovelware, only that it looked like it was heading down that path, Mr. High-and-Mighty.
So a piece of software produced by a different developer and publisher and on a different format immediately renders other, similar examples as "looking like/ heading down that path" shovelware?
Why, by that logic the next 3D Super Mario Brothers must be shovelware because Ninjabread Man is! After all, they're both 3D platformers
@waltz-elf Bopbie wasn't attacking you, so what right do you have to attack him? He has a right to his opinion. Oh, and BTW, everyone has a different look of "shovelware", so it was an opinion. Someone might think that the mario calcuator is shovelware, but some might think it's worth it. If there is no wifi, it's not taking up my precious memory on my DSi.

sighs The Internet is such a horrible medium for humour.
People lie so much today so I can't believe this.I'm sorry but people are too fake.So they wouldn't let you take pictures or make a video of it?
Are you talking to me?
No, I didn't feel the need to take a photo or video, since I was actually interviewing him for the Web feature I linked to earlier in this thread. You need proof for who I am? What kind of proof do you want?

So like I said, Facebook. It wouldn't make since to send someone a post card locally. I guess theoretically you could use the SD card on the Wii. Hopefully there's PC compatibility as well (did you mention that?) because so far I don't see the point in this app and I always use myNotebook.
