The game is still crap and doesn't work properly as far as I'm concerned, whether it's by design or not. And I'm a hobbyist, not a journalist - get it right!

This is a pretty fun game. I managed to get to 20th place on the leaderboards, so I think with a little more practice I can break the top 10. I see this being one of the handful of titles with a permanent place on my system.

I do tend to find the bullet-collision detection a bit odd, I can move through bullet sprays almost too easily! It's still not a bad game though, the visual presentation is very attractive, and the controls work effortlessly.

You on Easy/Normal?

I'm on Normal. I used the red ship with a wider bullet spray, so that would explain why it is easy.

Better than this?

I got it and finished it on the red ship(easy). Yes some bullets pass through you, but if you take too much damage, you will die(based on what I played). This game is really, really, easy on the red ship mode, but the game would be a real challenge on hard mode(blue ship) because you will easily die if you're not careful(the easy mode was a breeze). On what I played so far, this game is a beginner's bullet hell with flashy presentation so people who want a more forgiving shmup can try this arcade experience out.
@KnucklesSonic Nanostray is miles better than this game(even though its good), but if you want a cheap diversion, metal torrent sounds decent.

Even the easy mode, I can't really say is "easy", because your goal isn't to shield blast your way through the game, it should be to climb the ranks on the leaderboard by playing with a mind towards getting and maintaining big combos. As long as there are still people on the leaderboard ahead of me, the game is a challenge.

This game doesn't really have that much too it, but im on the fence about getting it. It would be nice for my DSi, but I dont think it'll be all that good, plus i think im too good since ive practically beaten Ikaruga, so t may not be hard XD
