I'm considering picking it up, but from my experience the DS's shoulder buttons are insanely brittle. Has this been a problem for anyone? Are there multiple control options?

Ummm... I'd say yes. You have to use the shoulder buttons to shoot and I offten have to button mash. (It's part of playing a shooter.)

This reminds me to play it some more, maybe start over and scan everything. I dont know if this is true but i heard you can unlock Zero Suit Samus If you Get 100% on all 3 files.
please tell me so I dont have to beat it 3 times or do have to.

Hm. :/ So there aren't any other ways of shooting?

I looked but I couldn't find anyway to change it. I ended up returning since I have a DSi and didn't want to kill the trigger buttons.

This game was the first to "break" my shoulder buttons. =/
I still loved it though. Let me know if you land up getting it. I've been itching to play against someone for a while...

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

MPH is way more shoot centric then its console brethren, plus the main focus is multiplayer, so you'll be using the shoulder buttons A LOT. if your DS is still under warranty, then I recomend getting it, as it is quite fun, if not only for the multiplayer

Yeah, it looks like a lot of fun. I'll probably wait on it though and see if the 3DS's buttons are any sturdier, haha.
