I would definetely have to say Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. I'm not usually much of an RPG fan but this game was just too awesome! The battles are fun, the game is hilarious, and I don't know what else. All I know is that I absolutely loved playing through it. Which is odd, because Partner's In Time didn't do much for me (I didn't gate it... it just didn't do much for me). I have yet to play Superstar Saga.
After that, I'd say Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing: Wild World. Mario Kart was same awesome gameplay mixed with a new mission mode plus the first Nintendo game ever to have Wi-Fi. Wild World was my first Animal Crossing game and probably one of my most played games ever. I played it regularly for months and played it semi-regularly for about a year and a half.
Man, the DS sure was an awesome system!
"Oooh, yes I said it! I said it! I said it 'cause I caaan!" My Backloggery
Here's my Top Ten: 1. Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story- Simply amazing. Excellent LOL-worthy script and innovative gameplay. 2. Advance Wars Dual Strike- I remember logging in well over 100 hours with this game. It's just SO addicting. 3. Zelda Spirit Tracks- creative puzzles and dungeons as well as a cool way of transportation. My second-favorite handheld Zelda. 4. WarioWare DIY- Probably the DS game with the most limitless content available. I'm sure I've put in well over 100 hours creating and playing my own microgames. They take awhile to complete, but its worth it. Watching my HeroQuest series come into action for the first time definitely gave me a smile. 5. Animal Crossing Wild World- A life sim that you simply can't put down because you want the next house upgrade. 6. Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver- The definitive Pokemon experience, especially with those ingenious Pokewalker accessories. 7. Dragon Quest Heroes Rocket Slime- I remember clearly the first time I beat this game at a hotel. It's pretty short, but a great, fun experience. Ah, the good times... 8. Advance Wars Days of Ruin- The 50 slots for creating maps gave this game the ticket to be on my top ten. Making maps is probably the most fun thing in the Advance Wars series. 9. New Super Mario Bros.- A fun experience that really shows you why old-school is still great. 10. Call of Duty Modern Warfare Mobilized- A great on-the-go FPS experience with a pretty good campaign.
I might be forgetting some titles, but those are my favs for now. I'm sure Okamiden will be on the list come March.
Here's my Top 10 1 100 Classic Books 2 Professor Layton and the Unwound Future 3 New Super Mario Bros 4 Nintendogs: Dauchaund and Friends 5 Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box 6 Warioware Diy 7 Pokemon: SoulSilver 8 Warioware Touched 9 Mario Kart DS 10 Professor Layton and the Curious Village Relationship with all? Published by Nintendo in North America
Well, it is hard for me to decide, so i'll just mention some of my favorites, in no particular order:
-Pokemon SoulSilver (or heartgold, but silver suits me better), the best pokemon game is a remake of the best pokemon game. -Wario Ware: DIY, it is much nicer to the DS's screen than WarioWare Touched, and i love making games. -The Sims, 2 and 3. -Animal Crossing WW. -Mario Party DS, i love mario party and this one is much better than every mario party after 3... -Harvest Moon DS, it's... my list... -Viva Piñata, loved the 360 one... and this one is portable! -Kirby Super Star Ultra, lots of fun games. -Rhythm Heaven, even more fun activities.
Lieutenant Commander of the Lesbian Love Brigade
There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
(Including Ports/Remakes) Dragon Quest IV Dragon Quest V Dragon Quest IX 999 Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsilver Bowser's Inside Story Chrono Trigger Ace Attorney series Professor Layton series
(Including only original titles) Dragon Quest IX Etrian Odyssey III 999 Ace Attorney series (Technically, Gyakuten Saiban was on the GBA, but whatever) Professor Layton series Rocket Slime TWEWY (I liked it before it was cool.) Freshly Picked: Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland New Super Mario Bros. Bowser's Inside Story
However, it's an ever changing list, and I'm sure I've forgotten some. A few honorable mentions include Itadaki Street, Color Changing: Tingle's Love Balloon Trip, Jump! Ultimate Stars.
There's so many; Pokemom SoulSilver, Warioware Touched and DIY, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Kirby Super Star Ultra, Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Bleach: Dark Souls... the list goes on!
Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver. The best quest to catch 'em all (because there is two areas and sixteen gyms) from the Game Boy Color, but vastly improved. There is more areas to explore, more side-quests to fulfill and, most importantly, nearly twice as many Pokémon to find with Kanto Legendaries obtainable in-game. With almost 500 of them to trade, catch and raise as well as an improved multiplayer mode, this game is a blast, even if you've played Gold, Silver or Crystal ten years ago.
Honourable mentions: Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Mario Kart DS, New Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks and the magnificent Chrono Trigger.
Uummmmm...well I can't pick just one. Its a tough pick between: Professor Layton and the Unwound Future, 999, Mario Kart DS, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, or Elite Beat Agents. I guess if I truly HAD to choose one, I would say Professor Layton by a hair over the others. Just goes to show how outstanding the DS's library has become
