Very difficult question to answer as one week it'll be one game and the other week another. Anyway, I'm lucky enought ohave played around 70 or more DS games in my DS career and I would say its between:

NSMB DS
Legend of Zelda series
Might and Magic Clash of Heroes
Mario vs DK Mini-land Mayhem

I like them all equally tbh. The Picross series and Pokemon series comes very, very close to those four as well!

As Legend of Zelda fan, I have to say Spirit Tracks. It was a great game, but it was really short.

Other than LoZ, I'd choose GTA:Chinatown wars. Fun, violent game that has incredible replay value and lots of sidequests/stuff to do

Out of all my DS games, Rhythm Heaven takes the cake as my favorite, then Mario Kart DS, and followed by Pokemon White.

It's a tie between Rhythm Tengoku Gold, All Layton Games, All Ace Attorneys and Chrono Trigger. To this list will probably be added Solatorobo once it comes out ^^

I've not played many but so far my favourite is Phantom Hourglass.

I thought it was a very good follow up to Windwaker, loved the look and island/sailing theme and the new controls worked great.

Top 10
1. Dragon Quest V 10/10, this (currently) is my all time favorite video game and favorite DS game and I have even beat the main story!
2. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box 10/10, you know a good game when it makes you cry at the ending about 5 times and the music and story are some of the best on the DS.
3. Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time 9.5/10, this was until Layton my favorite DS game fun and my favorite Pokemon side game.
4. Pokemon Black 9.5/10 Fantastic game best main series Pokemon since Sapphire.
5. Chrono Trigger 9.5/10 This is one of the greatest RPGs of all time and one of the best SNES remake ever and I never even played the original!
Will updated with 5 more titles to round off my top 10, dang this going to be hard...

Well, the game is not very new at all anymore. In fact, there's already a sequel.
