Against what many think, I love Kyurem's normal form. It's awesome. It's a frozen zombie dragon, the only Pokemon known and said directly to eat people, and it isn't meant to look pretty. Easily my favorite.
Some other favorites are... Galvantuline, Scraggy/Scrafty, Hydriegon(though I'm not a fan of its prevolutions), and Zekrishiramvdnhifvdfhij.
The only Pokemon I really HATED from this Gen- from any actually- are the Genie Trio and Volcarona/Larvesta. There's nearly nothing good to say about the former, except that they have the only pure Flying type, and the latter are just horribly overrated, I don't hate them but I do hate how awesome everyone makes them out to be... Alder has one lol... I guess that's just me.
And on the subject of Garbodor... This will make you like it a lot more!
Fav pokemon zoroark I LOVED trolling caitlin with zoroark disguised as a machamp >:3 least fav was that fish thing made me stop playing for a good 3 days till I got over the fact that I just saw the ugliest pokemon ever and why all the garbodor hate??? I thought he was freaking adorable <3

Favourite: Cryogonal (I would love it more if it didn't have a stupid name) Least Favourite: Emboar (It looks stupid and we have seen Fire/Fighting for the 3rd time in a row. It is a sad excuse for Pokemon #500)
A lot of Generation 5's Pokemon designs are really good and original. So much better than Generation 4, which in my opinion had really lazy designs, relying too much on past generations. Back to Gen 5, while most are really cool, some are just awful.
Favorite : Mienshao or Braviary (I can't decide, both are just so amazing) Least Favorite : Cyrogonal (WHAT WERE THEY THINKING)
Favorites: Scolipede, Zoroark and Haxorus. I just really enjoy their designs, and I have a pretty awesome Haxorus. Least Favs: Basculin and Stunfisk. These don't interest me much, just very blah.

Least favorite: By and large, I thought the designs in Black/White were the best the series has had in ages, but I didn't care for that series of ice cream-themed Pokemon whose names I'm currently blanking on.
This is the first time i've seen anyone say that this generation had mostly good designs... I found most of the designs to correspond almost to the letter of those from Gen. I cough*Tauros and Bouffalant*cough
I feel the 5th generation has the best designs overall, and so it took me a bit of thought to think of one I actually disliked, but if I had to pick one it would be Durant. If it had an evolved form though, I probably wouldn't view any of the designs negatively. My favorite is Sawk.

Let's see, usually, there are a few pokemon that get used as "fillers", as in, filled in certain roles. In BW, they had a completely new roster. So, they made new pokemon to fill in the roles that are usually filled by old pokemon.
So we end up with pokemon that aren't too different from old pokemon.
Examples:
Trubbish and Garbodor are analogous to Grimer and Muk.
Cubchoo and Beartic are analogous to Teddiursa and Ursaring.
Sawk and Throh are analogous to Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.
I hate Sawk and Throh. Not only do they look like ugly versions of Sesame Street characters, but their pun is so stupid. At least the names of Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan were awesome references.
I feel like Generation V is just like every other generation of Pokemon in that the designs are a bit of a mixed bag. Some are great; some aren't. It has been that way since Generation one (Grimer and Ditto looked incredibly similar). I like to think it like this; Pokemon imitate the real world. There are more than one species of bear, so it seems natural that there are a variety of Pokemon based on bears.
For this generation, I would have to name Braviary, Krookodile, and Serperior as my favorites, while my least favorites would have to be Stunfisk (just don't like him much), the vulture thing whose name is escaping me at the moment (liked the idea, but the design itself seemed a bit uninspired), Thunderus, Tornadus, and Landorus (the changes in the environment before you encounter Thunderous or Tornadus is awesome, if a bit similar to Groudon and Kyogre in Emerald, but the encounter itself left me disappointed).
