I hate to put a damper on your spirits, but game release dates change all the time. Just look at Shantae: Risky's Revenge. I was supposed to be released Q4 LAST YEAR, and now we're two-thirds of the way though Q2 and we've only had a couple trailers and Nintendo Power articles on it since.
Blayzbloo (why they named it that way is beyond my understanding).
Probably because Arc System Works is having fun with this title. If you look at their profile you can see they're also responsible for the family games series on WiiWare, which leads me to believe they're in the same boat as WayForward in that they make loads of not-so-great games so they can make their dream games. That's what I think, at least.
The game is called Blayzbloo to reflect the Japanese title of the game. The JPN title is BlazBlue, but written in hiragana, which is used by grade school children. The "translated" it to how a child might spell BlazBlue. (Source: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/26/esrb-cute-blazblue-spinoff-...
I hope Blazybloo and Shantae are good. They are the reasons I bought a XL.
Well, we know Photo Dojo and Earthworm Jim are coming tomorrow but I have no idea what others will fill out the update. I've got 1000 pts saved just in case Shantae pops up unexpectedly.
Well for WiiWare we getting "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations" tomorrow and next week on the 17th of May is "Bit.Trip Runner" that game will be cool and interesting.
I'm going to revive this thread for my predictions this week. With Q-Games's X-Scape, Gameloft's Hero of Sparta and something else I can't be bothered to look up coming out next week, I'm predicting Animal Color Cross and Tetris Party Live for this week, even though ACC has an E3 showing scheduled. So, what do you predict?
I predict Hero of Sparta for only 500 np's, because thats the only way I would buy that title now( even though I was really looking forward to that one and I dont have it for any other device). Well Nintendo did say something like “the updates were going to get better every week” in their first press release this month so i'll have to go with........ ....... shrugs Reflections
edit: oh, and Xscape for 500 nps too.
edit2: official press release from may 3rds(US) update Stay Motivated in May with Marvelous New Game Downloads
"What’s your motivation? It all depends on which of this week’s downloadable games you choose to play. In Zombie Panic in Wonderland for the WiiWare™ service, the goal is survival. In both Sokomania and 1001 Crystal Mazes Collection for the Nintendo DSiWare™ service, you’re driven by a need to arrange objects in their proper places. With seven new titles added to the ever-growing library of downloadable games from Nintendo, players can be motivated and mesmerized in more ways than ever."
not exactly what I remember, but close enough i guess.....
X-Scape - ??? pts.; Wikipedia says it will be 800, but that is probably not reliable. Hero of Sparta - 800 pts. in Europe; no telling what it will be here. Telegraph Sudoku and Kakuro - 200 pts. according to Nintendo's site. A Topsy Turvy Life: Turvys Strike Back - 200 pts. according to some press release I won't bother to link to.
So, I expect that we will get one more game, maybe two at most this week. If the first two are 800 pts, I would expect a 500 pt. game to balance the release.
As a side note, I'm really hoping X-Scape is 500 points like all of Q-Games's other DSiWare games, because then I could catch up on a few games I haven't picked up. Though I may get the second Turvy game instead.
