Topic: DSi XL

i seen a thing about the ipad yesterday... looks cool lol!! but expensive and ive more memory on my nokia n97 lol

Well, after a couple of days with it I can say that there is one downside: the extra weight means when I lie in bed playing Space Invaders Z my button-pressing thumb starts to cramp up!

LOL!! is that the only downside so far??

Yep, and actually that doesn't seem to be specific to the DSi LL's size, but just the fact that there's a lot of button pressing in that game!

DSi XL is mostly for older gamers who play at home a lot, kinda like a console version of a DS. Not much portable.

It's very portable, I take it with me to work all the time! After the Gameboy Micro it's a godsend -- no way I can play Shanghai Advance again (well, I will review it before Ebay'ing it). Seriously if it wasn't for Activision Anthology, I probably would unload the Micro, the big screens on the LL are a treat!

I agree, my old eyes are really looking forward to the DSi XL. I have never carried a DS in my pocket, if I am traveling, I keep it in it's case to protect it. I will do the same with the DSi XL, but it will be more worth it because I will be able to see what I am playing now.

I've been thinking more and more that i'll pick one up too. Especially as i've been playing more point-and-click (yay, Broken Sword!) and "hidden object"-based games lately, i would love the larger screen. And i figure if i'm going to step up to the DSi, i might as well get something that's a little more different than my standard DSlite.

If the DSi XL is going to be $220 like some websites say that's more expensive than a Wii!

It probably won't happen, but it would be nice if they lower the price of the DSi, and make the DSi XL $170.

I have DS games. All I need is this DSi XL to be released.
