Topic: DSi malfunctioning

Hi guys

So i bought a dsi the other day from a flea market. The seller said it worked but the battery was dead. Didnt come with a charger.
So I took it home, connected the charger, turn it on turn it off everything is fine. I let it charge for a little bit more, then put it in a drawer.
After several days I opened the drawer and the dsi was already on!
I tried to switch it off but it would not turn off.
So I saw a video on YouTube Where this Guy loaded a Game cartridge while it was on, and immediately pulled it so the dsi turned off.
I did it and from then the dsi would not turn on at all.
The orange light was blinking when charging.
So I replaced the battery with a new one. Same situation.
Several times when i connected the charger, the blue light turned on for a second but then both orange and blue went black.
After connecting and removing the charger to the port for about 10-20 times, the dsi turned on by itself!
But when i removed the charger, or i closed the screen it would turn off.
The power button would not turn it off.
So till now, if i want to use the dsi, i need to jiggle the charger in and out for a long time, and always keep the dsi plugged...

Any help or thoughts?

@WoomyNNYes That doesnt explain the red and blue blinking or shutting down whithout a charger
