Topic: DSi Bullet Proof?!

I already have small scratches on my DSi where the paint came off.

he pointed his .40 Glock at it and fired so Hawkeye would have his answer. and now he does. in short: don't go running into a fire fight using your DSi as a shield.

Well my old DS-es are very damaged, and hardly work (but those things were STURDY!), My DS Lite's R button is Broken, and My DSi's R button is becoming slightly unresponsive. Why didn't they just use the great shoulder buttons that they had on the DS on the Lite and DSi?

I dropped my dsi on cement.... not a pretty sight.. it has a giant chip now

I dropped my DSi on a solid surface.... it's got some noticable scratches on the top but nothing more.

i dropped my DSi in my pocket, with many little coins on it, the first day i bought it.
... and went for a stroll.

My DS phat has been dropped, gotten wet and still works a treat. Sure the case is pretty scuffed up but everything works just fine. I don't wanna trade 'up' to a DSi either because I much prefer the D-pad on the Phat.Long may it soldier on.My favorite handheld of all time

I love my DSi to much to ever let myself drop it.

My Dsi`s L button became unresponsive about a month ago, i just blew on it and it works like new.

PSP took an 4-5 foot fall onto concrete and was fine (battery popped out when it hit the ground, but it still works--and it's a first gen fat one). DS-lite was excellently cared for and just randomly turns off/has dead pixels. Used to be the reverse, as my PS1 was my first console to ever stop functioning (center-of-disc holder split apart--couldn't hold discs anymore). NES and SNES both work like a charm with every game in my collection--all save batteries still work too. (loaded a Dragon Warrior 2 file I haven't touched in 15ish years the other day--loaded/worked fine, and was able to save to the same file, then load again)

Same exact thing happened to me, but sometimes it would start to act up again.
