Where do I get a replacement battery for my DS?

Some stores sell it and Nintendo sells it for all models at the following links:

Original DS/DS Phat: http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDi...

DS Lite: http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDi...

DSi: http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDi...

And of course, DSi XL: http://store.nintendo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDi...

These links should work. If not, just start from store.nintendo.com and go from there.

You can get them for a lot less on eBay. About $3 seems to be the going rate for one. Something tells me that this probably won't be the official Nintendo part though, if that bothers you.

I wouldn't recommend eBay. I'd get it straight from Nintendo

Any particular reason why not?

You might get a battery with a shorter life from eBay, but the prices are definitely more reasonable. I bought a replacement battery for my GBA SP on there 4 years ago, and it was never quite as good as the original, but it's still working.

As long as the products are shipped from the United States, they should be fine. I wouldn't trust any batteries or other power sources from Hong Kong though. Cheap, but very possibly faulty from what I've heard. If it's from the United States, even if it's a 3rd party or used product, it still has to meet certain safety standards.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.
