Topic: UK Shovel Knight Delayed Again

Yacht Club Games are really struggling to supply the Shovel Knight Amiibos. As couple of weeks back it was pushed from November to 11th of December. This then changed to 18th of December.

Now I've just looked on Amazon UK and they say that it will be released on the 23rd of December. However Nintendo UK Store say it was 11th Dec but shipped on the 14th while Game and ShopTo still say it will be released on the 18th (Tomorrow).

Also Yacht Clubs Games say it will be the 18th but is due to a Customs issue which they posted on their site 10th Dec.

I cancelled my order the other day. If it offers no functionality outside of the Shovel Knight game (e.g. no integration with Smash) then it's virtually worthless to me, and if he's not in Smash the character loses its Nintendo-ey appeal somewhat. Rather save my money for a Bayonetta amiibo.

I had two pre-orders. To cover bases incase of high demand, but It's likes no-one is interested with this one.

Every retail is still taking pre-orders and have not hit any stock limits yet.

The lack of an official release date is the most frustrating part!

Well the rumoured release date is now 8th Jan (the same as the US release date)

If you don't want to wait you can get a version some other EU areas. Also the Amiibo's data has already been made available to people who want/can use it.
