I think it's just silly to keep these boxed and then displaying and treating them like some rare ancient treasure. Most will be reprinted anyway, so the value will drop.

I've opened all mine so far as I intend to use them in their respective games.

Don't get me wrong, they look well nice in the boxes they come in but they don't look too shabby sat out on a shelf either.

I opened them all but the funny thing is I kept the boxes. But I mean I used to throw away my games boxes as a kid because I thought the cart was the only valuable part and now look, every part of the package is important. One day there will be someone out there who will pay the money for the box, if just for the bubble or something. People are crazy.

everyone needs to relax and enjoy the games that are released today and stop worrying what Nintendo will do in a year or two from now.

My thoughts exactly. My set looks fantastic on the shelf outside of their boxes. Really its different strokes for different folks, but I know some people are more into reselling than actually admiring the Nintendo memorabilia.

I open all of them, except maybe three of them which I got doubles of so I could leave them in their box but that's not something I plan on doing with most of the others I get. I have about 15 and opened all of them so I could put them near my TV and Wii U. I don't see the point in just collecting them to leave them in the box unless you're only planning on selling them eventually.
