Weird. Marth just went on stock on Amazon (for a few minutes I guess until it sold out again).
I decided to buy one but it decided to charge me for the 2 day shipping even though I have prime. I wrote them trying to fix that, although I guess at $22 it's still a good price, but I don't want to pay more than $12.99 for any amiibo. Not even a cent more.
Tax says "hi"
I didn't get charged sales tax for my Link amiibo. Came out to be $12.96 for that one. But I still see what you're saying.

I don't get charged tax either but yeah, either you bought the Amiibo for a high price since it's being sold by a third party or you choose 2 day shipping which isn't free when it's not sold directly by Amazon.

80% tax? I don't get it
He's contradicting the fact that @dumedum refuses to pay more than $12.99, when sales tax will always apply, making you pay more than that, unless you're lucky and you're not charged sales tax. But the point remains.

Yeah I didn't count the tax. But seriously they charged me for two day shipping even though it was on Prime. I think the whole thing was a glitch because it suddenly was in stock. And it was amazing to see (only 9 left but at the time you go to the cart only two were left)... Nintendo must be doing all this low stock on purpose to gather hype . They're selling so many of these amiibos so instantly and enjoying themselves.

No. I can send you a capturescreen gif or something. It's Amazon, Prime and they charged me for shipping when they're not supposed to. I think it's a glitch. I'll wait for what they sayl/
They fixed it! I'm now paying the $14.14 price
But I'll believe the whole thing when it ships. It's just so weird they suddenly had a few in stock and I just so happened to check it at that moment.
Since I hardly even see those figures in the first place (ant not because people rushed in to buy them all) I'm gonna guess they wont be getting a second run.
I thinks it's ok to discontinue after a while but THIS EARLY? It's not even Christmas! I was going to buy them all once I got some money from my seasonal job and now I may possibly already be too late? Ugh, I hope they at do one more restock...
Well like I said the second wave is already coming out and there's barely even room for the figures that are out now. I blame Disney Infinity having taking up so much space...
you guys do realize smash hasn't released in japan yet? they will print another batch but you may have to import them. still cheaper than scalpers.

Thanks for writing. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to locate certain amiibo. I will make sure the appropriate departments at Nintendo are aware of your inquiry.
Some amiibo were very popular at launch, but be assured that we have not discontinued any. It is possible that some amiibo in the United States, Canada and Latin America may not be available right now due to high demand and our efforts to manage shelf space during the launch period, but may return to these markets at a later stage. We are continually aiming to always have a regular supply of amiibo in the marketplace and there are many waves of amiibo to come. The distribution and availability of amiibo in other regions around the world may be different.
