Topic: amiibo Collection

my versions face is fine. it's the giant man hands she has that lets the figure down.

The faces aren't great on mine (Palutena, Shulk, Marth, Robin, Pit) but whatever it's not even noticeable from a distance and everything else is great so I don't mind.

My Ganondorf arrived today! I had to order it from Japan, but I was really surprised that his wave was out everywhere but in NA took me a long time to find out. My amiibos:

The last 3 are my brother's. Bowser Jr amiibo should arrive tomorrow for my brother and Charizard at August 5th or before for me. Then all I need for myself is R.O.B. I think I will get the Japan one... Prefer that color

Now my Kid Icarus series is complete with Dark Pit. One of the only times it's good to live in NYC. I got to admit getting certain amiibo now is a lot easier then it was in the first half of the year with the new management, as long as you don't wait on getting them.

I also felt bored so I decided to have a Pokemon battle. I'm so glad the amiibo are not like the rumble NFCs. Cheap in cost and also in built. Plus getting it exclusively at gamestop Gashapon style is no help.

Just randomly walked into a Gamestop and found a Pac-Man amiibo!

So I was fortunate enough to get my Palutena when she went live last week and I am happy that I got her. She is my main after all. Her face could be better, but her figure is very nice so the face is just a minor complaint at this point, (for me anyways). I was also surprised how many Dark Pits were available at the closest Best Buy. There was probably a total of 14 people lined up when we got there 10 minutes before they opened, and even then, I'd say 10 more people showed up after everybody got their Dark Pit. Even with all the people who showed up, there was still about 20ish Dark Pits when we left, (we had to stay for half an hour to get my dad's phone fixed) so I was pretty happy that they all didn't sell out in a minute, (still getting flashbacks to my local Target which got 2 Jigglypuff amiibo which were both snagged by one person, but I got mine now so its fine). So I hope everyone was able to get their figures today, (assuming you didn't import it already) and I hope you'll be ready for the huge wave in September.

Pac Man and Jiggypuff got a huge restock at Target near me. Sadly, I had already bought him on opening day and Jigglypuff had to be ordered online though Amazon.

@Rexcalibr: Nice. The Gamestop I went into had one Pac-Man and one Luigi out of the Smash amiibo, as well as the usual Super Mario amiibo which always seem to be in stock.

Let's just say I consider myself lucky. I think the amiibo stock situation is gradually improving.

Pac-man amiibo is literally the most common for me, I find him in almost any stores. I won't buy him though

Also have a second Pikachu which is opened for NFC testing and apart from the Gold and Silver Marios they are all UK versions.

Just have to wait for Nitendo to release new Amiibos

Got Dr. Mario and Bowser JR today.

I don't think I want the Bowser Jr. amiibo since I already got the Furuta figure of him along with the rest of the Koopalings.

I've already gotten most of the amiibos I wanted. The ones I would actually still want are probably Mega Man, Ike, Lucina and Zero Suit Samus. If they make the Mario Party amiibos of Daisy and Wario I will probably get them but it doesn't look like they will.

I started collecting them out of curiousity. It became a really enjoyable hobby.

Not everything on my shadow box is Amiibo, obviously. But I fit what I can. My Squid Amiibo is in transit as we speak! Really excited to finish that collection. The Splatoon figurines are definitely my favorite aesthetically.

Also, some of your collections blow my mind! Nice!

Ever since Super Mario 3 and the cartoon but never as big a fan as I am now until they made their long awaited comeback in the New Super Mario games, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros.

I give up, the chances of me finding Shulk or Inkling Girl anytime soon are slim...might as well go for a semi-rare Amiibo while he's still common where I live. (Pac-Man)
