I'm hoping for Kid Icarus as well (which seems pretty likely, seeing as Uprising is coming out soon). I think being able to create Restore Points would make that game much more playable.

According to the site, Super Mario Advance 4 is coming too.
According to what site? The linked one? That one said Super Mario Advance 3, no mention of 4.
The games listed so far remind me of Animal crossing so I predict we'll see:
Ballon Fight* Clu Clu Land* Donkey Kong Jr. Golf* Kirby's adventure Kid Icarus The Legend of Zelda Super Mario Bros Ice Climber Metroid
GBA - Metroid Fusion Mario Kart super Circuit Yoshi's Island Warioware inc Mario Vs Donkey Kong Mario and Luigi super circuit Pokemon Emerald Zelda Minish cap Kirby: Amazing mirror Golden Sun Drill Dozer
I keep thinking it would be the most Nintendo-like move to announce the best games early. It also make the most business sense. If they want anyone to be enticed by the exclusive GBA games and buy the $250 3DS before August 12, they'd want to show off the best free games of the bunch as early as possible. I keep thinking that the remaining 10 aren't going to be of the same quality as the first 10 (i.e. NOT Mario and Luigi or Fire Emblem or Minish Cap or whatever). But... I also can't imagine them possibly giving away third party titles (they COULDN'T without the third party's consent, and why would they give that?), and Nintendo's library isn't filled with crap games like many companies' are. So... are there some "meh" Nintendo games we could be getting for the rest? Or am I just being a Downer Dragon?

Nintendo could work on a deal with third party publishers (Sony does with the PSN all the time), to offer up their games. That said, it's unlikely.
@Clinker for some reason I have a feeling that your guesses will be the right ones ... Well except for Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time ... That's a DS game
@Waltz: Yeah, like I said, they'd need the consent. It could be done, but I can't really think of many reasons why that would be done. I just can't think of too many sub-par Nintendo games, though. I guess that may just be because people don't constantly talk about bad games like the do good ones, though.

I got the titles for the 1st M&L game and 2nd M&L game mixed up, I changed it to make it correct. Thanks!
NES: -Super Mario Bros. 3 -Metroid -Super Mario Bros. 2 -Bubble Bobble -Kirby's Adventure
GBA: -WarioWare: Twisted (Seriously, I would DIE if they gave us this one. It can happen with 3DS's gyroscope!) -Drill Dozer (Again, it can use the gyroscope.) -Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga -Sonic Advance 1, 2, or 3 (doesn't really matter to me!) -Pokemon Emerald
If these were the remaining 10 my heart might just stop

Also, why do you need a translation when the American press site has the same exact announcement in English

i like everyone's list for the most part. i'm very excited to see what they decide (if they knew they'd tell us right?)
I'm mostly hoping for Kirby and M&L Superstar Saga. Other than that I'd definitely hope to see Punch Out! and Kid Icarus whether they are these free ports or 3D Classics. and Minish Cap b/c I never played it. 20 free games is very exciting.

So far in the news posts I've only listed the games I'd like to see....these are the games I think will be added to the line-up realistically:
NES :: Kid Icarus Donkey Kong Dr. Mario Duck Hunt Punchout
GBA :: Wario Land 4 Donkey Kong Country (1,2 or 3) Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap Kirby & The Amazing Mirror One more of the Super Mario Advance games to fill the last slot (take your pick) (personally I hope it's not the first one, since It's the only one of the super advance ones that I've played before)
I'd love to think we'll see some games like Pokemon (Emerald :3), Mario & Luigi, Golden Sun, Advance Wars or Fire Emblem but I'm not really sure. They don't seem like games that Nintendo would give away. (although granted, until recently no game seemed like one nintendo would give away) I have a feeling they'll probably go for more side scrolling platform type games or puzzle games.. I guess it's my pessimism creeping in.
If there does happen to be a pokemon game I can see it easily being Emerald....would they really go to the trouble of setting up a system inside this ambassador system just for pokemon games that you can pick between? (Ruby OR Sapphire, Fire Red OR Leaf Green) I doubt they'd give one and not the other too...that would be a bit strange. Emerald is the perfect alternative since it's the most stand alone of the five pokemon games.
I think it's definitely true that the GBA games announced far outshine the NES ones. I can't see myself spending that much time playing Donkey Kong Jr, Ice Climbers or Balloon Fight. I'll still welcome them on to my 3DS though.
