Oh, and Mona too, since she's the only character in the Mario-verse (other than Wario) who is shown to have the hability to drive a real vehicle outside of mario kart.

You mean Bowser Jr., Baby Bowser is Bowser as a baby and is in most of the Yoshi games. Anyway, I would love to see some characters from the Wario platformers like Captain syrup or Carpaccio as well as some Warioware characters like Mona, 9-volt, Ashley and Kat and Ana.
Mario. Or if he has already been announced, my second choice would be Wart. Just to give him more visibility. I think he'd look a bit weird in a kart, but maybe people would like him enough that they'd consider putting him in Mario or Smash games down the line.
