I really want this game but it's just poor timing as I want Stella Glow just a bit more. I don't have time for both unfortunately. I'll most likely pick this up after the new year.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Where is the review of Nintendo Life for this game?
I don't know, but I'm kind of glad that whoever's reviewing it is taking the time to get in depth into the game. I'd rather have a well thought out review than one rushed out close to the release date. The moderate reviews it has received so far may only be because the reviews barely broke the crust of a game that develops the more it is played. No hurry for me, if It's good I plan on picking it up at the end of the month.
Currently bored (while change when I stop being bored)
I think a lot of sites are taking their time with this review. Over Metacritic you only see 18 reviews so far and a high profile title like this will top out somewhere in the 40's. That's over half still yet to submit a review. Maybe we will see the score bump up a little but even now the scores not bad at 77. Seems about right to me. From the demo and video I've seen I would say it's about an 8.

This. I have yet to try the demo (been too busy lately), but from what I've seen of the anime, the franchise looks charming.
For those currently playing the game, what do you think so far?
Currently playing: Ys X: Nordics (Switch), SteamWorld Dig 2 (Switch)
@Trinexx: I've been playing it. I am about 9 hours in. I like it. I'll give you my positives and negatives. I love the exploration of the city. With each new area it allows me to explore, it offers more yokai to catch. The yokai themselves are interesting; they have personalities. Thankfully, if they come with a personality that you don't like you can change it. Some of the negatives IMO are the side quests are mainly fetch quests, I don't care for some of the yokai designs, and sometimes the map doesn't point me to the exact area it wants me to go.
I finally got around to playing the demo and it was disappointing. I found it so dull compared to Pokemon. It feels like they made hunting unexciting and battling annoying. After all this hype and talk about it being the "Pokemon Killer" it was all charm, and little fun. I didn't even get to the end of the demo.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
Just got this yesterday and loving every minute 😍
I've got two Snartle's (the zebra crossing demon) and they're both Loafers which is not great obviously. Anyone else befriended one with a better attitude?
So I tried the demo over the holiday weekend. Like I was warned, it wasn't anything amazing, but at least it gave me a bit of a feel on how the combat works; the only thing that annoyed me was that I couldn't use items. I did enjoy exploring a bit of Springdale and hunting for Yo-Kai and bugs.
I've also watched bits and pieces of playthroughs online, (trying to avoid some spoilers in the process) and the game looks charming enough to the point where I hope to pick it up soon!
Any warnings from those who have already dived into the game?
@Trinexx:
Hey, my main advice is befriend the yokai that appears when you cross the zebra crossing not using the lights, before you level up your watch. I did it with a team level 25-26. Two healers and a 'poisoner' really helped.
I am wondering with the way the battle system uses the touch screen, would this game be okay if I don't have a screen protector? I usually dont use the touch screen much, so have never added one.
Supposedly, Square Enix and Level-5 are doing a collaboration of content between Final Fantasy XIV and Yo-Kai Watch 3. So far both sides of the deal are only in Japan, but the Final Fantasy content is coming to North America as well.
