Topic: xmas in the courtroom or the dungeons

So xmas isn't really a thing in our household, but all the outside festivities made wanna buy a game for myself.
Problem is i can't decide what to get.
I've narrowed it down to either Ace attOrney trilogy or SMT IV. I've never played an AA game before but heard great things about the series. I have played persona 4 so i should like SMT.

Help me decide!

I can't speak for SMT 4 (despite owning it), but when it comes to Ace Attorney, know that while it is a great series, know that it's a visual novel. You will not be doing much gameplay wise, you will be doing a lot of reading and selecting answers. If you're okay with that, then by all means get Ace Attorney. If you're looking for more of an actual game, then I would say SMT 4.

If you like advanture games/visual novel, then by all means, get Ace Attorney Trilogy - it's awesome. SMT IV though... if you expect something like Persona, you will hate it. Even though I like SMT games (although I haven't played that many of them), I hate IV with the passion. The biggest enemy in this game is awkward camera, which 9/10 will screw you over or at least annoy you. Also, first attack at times feels random to me sometimes, but it's not as big of an issue as camera. That kills the game for me.

You cant go wrong with Ace Attorney Trilogy.
While they are both completely different games, out of those two I'd recommend this one.

Don't know a thing about SMT IV, but can recommend Ace Attorney with all my heart. Such a lovely series with great writing and music, though as others said, it ought to be taken more like a book than game. At 30 €/$, the trilogy is a steal.
